Anyone can change their beliefs. Anyone claiming that they are inoculated from change is just lying to themselves.

Common sense should tell religious people that believe is not as a result of parents alone. Society play a higher role. If you grow in in a religious environment, it's 99% likely that you adopt that religious beliefs to certain extent. Believe is a spectrum. Some are religious fanatics and extremist. At the lowest spectrum we have the atheists followed by agnotists. At the highest, we have the religious fanatics and extremist. In the middle we have different spectrum of beliefs. The level you're in is dependent on the environment you grew up in.

The use is found in your Qur'an. In your Qur'an, Jesus has no earthly father. He was conceived of the breath of God, the only person to be so conceived

In your Qur'an, the Spirit of God is well established and recognised. It is this reality of the existence of God that Christianity conceptualised as trinity. So if your quran recognises trinity, what problem do you have with it?

As for your claim that Christianity tends towards atheism, your quran recognises Christianity and admits their religion is from God so do you mean Islam recognises atheism?

Meanwhile, there are pagan practices and beliefs that existed in Mecca which Islam clearly adopted like circumbabulation, kissing the stone, stoning the devil, bowing down to pray five times daily, refusing to speak when defecating, declaring dogs as evil and cats as good, fear of mirrors and pictures etc.

So how come you don't have a problem with these clearly pagan beliefs and practices in Islam but you attack Christianity because of trinity that clearly exists in the Qur'an?

You just helped resolve the issue the OP is pointing at.

Christians can grow up and leave Christianity.
Children born in atheistic homes can grow up and become Christians. Hence it doesn't always follow that one is a Christian due to birth

because people have been moving from one religion to another for donkey years.

But two things are sure:
1. It's either through personal conviction or
2. Through personal encounter with the True God.

Meeee! My dad was a lecturer and chief lab technologist at pathology and microbiology department in ABU Zaria. We never went to church and he taught us heavy sciency stuff like astronomy, evolution etc. I gave my life to JESUS CHRIST when I was 21.

Ignorant people with little knowledge of science do claim they are atheists those having indepth of knowledge in science are real believers in God.

So when you see adults claiming they are atheists wait until their own child gets deeper knowledge of science!🙂

Currently i'm studying the Bible with an older friend who said faith in God is stupidity!

How did it happen?

I simply asked him who discovered the water circle and he mentioned two names: Bernard Palissy in the year 1580 and Pierre Perrault in the 1600s.

So i told him it was Moses who wrote the Bible book of Job some 3,500 years ago.

He laughed at the top of his voice but later became silent and scared when i showed him what Moses penned down regarding water circle:

(God) draws up the drops of water; They condense into rain from his mist; Then the clouds pour it down; They shower down upon the earth. Job 36:27-28

From that moment he agreed to giving a study of God's word a second thought!🙂
