This footage shows terrorists evacuating their dead after airstrikes targeted their location on Tuesday.

Did anything happen to those assessing the damage and evacuating their dead colleagues?

do you know how many airstrikes NAF leaves unreported.
Before 26th there were two strikes at separate locations, yet no BDA clip or anything, they just choose to not release

Okay, let's just hope they were tracked and smoked because leaving them alive given that opportunity would be very stupid

IS-Sahel has claimed for the first time attacks against the Nigerian army in Kebbi and Sokoto states of northwest Nigeria, this confirms my reports for the last few years that the so-called "Lakurawa" is only a front group for the Islamic State, despite many "analysts" and "experts" claiming otherwise.

And just as reported, the Islamic State explains that they were active in NW Nigeria for a long time previously, but refrained from claiming these attacks until now for operational security reasons

Source: @brantphilip_
In confirmation of Al-Naba's report on ISSP in Northwest Nigeria, Islamic State has released pictures of seven Nigerian soldiers killed in an attack on the village of 'Rumji Dan Doto' in Sokoto state. It also released images of weapons captured during the attack. This matches the attack in Rumji reported by the media around the same time, which was then attributed to Lakurawa. Two of the latest images also match those released in Al-Naba.

In the Al-Naba announcement, IS had claimed two attacks in Northwest Nigeria, including the 24 March attack in Shanga, Kebbi state, carried out by Lakurawa. ISSP has not released photos from the Shanga attack.

The confirmation of ISSP's presence in northwestern Nigeria adds to the complexity of the conflict in the Northwest, and possibly the Northcentral as well

NAF EARNS INTERNATIONAL COMBAT MEDICAL TRAINING ACCREDITATION, ENHANCES OPERATIONAL READINESS

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), in collaboration with the German Technical Advisory Group (GTAG), has achieved a significant milestone in combat medical capability following the accreditation of the Air Mobile First Aid Unit (AMFAU) of the Nigerian Air Force School of Medical Sciences and Aviation Medicine (NAFSMSAM), Kaduna, by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT), USA. The achievement was marked by the successful conduct of the first-ever NAEMT-accredited Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) training in Nigeria, positioning AMFAU among a select group of accredited NAEMT training centres in West Africa and reinforcing the NAF's commitment to developing world-class combat medical capabilities.

The Tactical Combat Casualty Care programme is globally recognised as the gold standard in battlefield medicine, equipping personnel with critical lifesaving skills required to manage trauma and medical emergencies in operational environments. The training reflects the NAF's commitment to international best practices and comes at a time when the Service remains actively engaged in counter-insurgency, counter-terrorism and other joint military operations across the country. By strengthening combat medical expertise, the NAF is enhancing force protection, operational resilience and mission effectiveness while improving its capacity to support both operational and humanitarian contingencies.

Speaking on the achievement, the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, described the accreditation and successful conduct of the inaugural TCCC course as a strategic advancement in the Nigerian Air Force's drive towards operational excellence. He noted that the capability would significantly enhance operational readiness and survival outcomes during military operations, adding that "every life saved on the battlefield strengthens operational effectiveness and contributes directly to the successful accomplishment of the Nigerian Air Force's mandate in support of national security objectives." The event, hosted by the Commandant of NAFSMSAM, Air Vice Marshal AC Ekpe, also witnessed the formal activation of AMFAU as an accredited NAEMT Training Centre and highlighted the enduring partnership between the NAF and GTAG in advancing military medical training, combat casualty care and capacity development.

COMMANDER INFANTRY CORPS CHARGES AIRBORNE TROOPS TO LEVERAGE SPECIALIZED SKILLS FOR OPERATIONAL SUCCESS

In a colourful demonstration of airborne capability, combat readiness and professional military excellence, the Nigerian Army School of Infantry (NASI) on Thursday, 4 June 2026 graduated students of Advance Airborne Course 31, Basic Rigger Course 48, Basic Airborne Course 61 and Nigerian Defence Academy Cadets Basic Airborne Course 10 at the Jaji Drop Zone, having successfully completed the prescribed number of military parachute jumps required for qualification as paratroopers.

Delivering his remarks, the Special Guest of Honour and Commander Infantry Corps (CIC), Major General Godwin Michael Mutkut, charged the students to effectively utilize, consolidate and apply the skills acquired at the Jump School towards enhancing operational effectiveness and mission accomplishment in defence of Nigeria’s territorial integrity. The CIC emphasized that personnel must remain steadfast, professional and committed to duty, noting that their expertise is vital in addressing the contemporary security challenges confronting the nation and achieving lasting peace and stability.

The CIC further urged the graduates to uphold the highest standards of military discipline, regimentation, courage and professionalism in the discharge of their responsibilities across various theatres of operation. He also encouraged them to continually pursue professional military education and specialized training in order to broaden their knowledge, enhance operational competence and remain relevant in an evolving security environment.

In his welcome address and course overview, the Commandant NASI, Major General Frank Sunday Etim, stated that the students underwent rigorous physical conditioning, intensive airborne drills and psychological preparedness training to earn the privilege of wearing the coveted airborne wings and being recognized as paratroopers. He noted that the students displayed exceptional discipline, resilience and professionalism throughout the training period, stressing that airborne operations demand precision and attention to detail, as any lapse could result in serious consequences. He therefore reiterated the enduring Rigger motto: “I Will Be Sure Always.”

In the same vein, the Commandant NASI, Major General Frank Sunday Etim, earlier graduated students of Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) Driving and Maintenance Section Commanders Course 40. He charged the students to effectively employ the combat driving and maintenance skills acquired during the course and to serve as force multipliers by imparting the knowledge to personnel at their respective formations and units. He further noted that the APC remains a critical battlefield platform renowned for its mobility, protection and firepower, which are indispensable elements for operational success in contemporary military operations.

The high point of the graduation ceremony was the execution of combat graduation jumps, decoration of qualified students with the airborne wings, presentation of merit awards, presentation of souvenirs and group photograph.
