Doesn't it bother you that a criminal who have access to your mobile phone can access your money in Opay through that channel?

If you understand Oauth architecture, you will realize what you described is not possible. Oauth is very secured and allows for token revocation.

Opay should review their loan system, it's killing Nigerians and our eyes will soon open

Opay is here to take over the banking industry if it's been allowed to. This year so far I've got no need in steeping into any bank for one issue or the other, Opay git me covered.

One advice for Opay, if they can have at least 1 main branch like a building in each state in Nigeria, then it's a total takeover for them because they've got all it takes to lead.

They are already doing that with ATM machines. Here in Jos, they have a big office and another annex office. Their licence has been upgraded to national status by CBN. So, OPAY can be used as a salary account with authorization spread across the 36 states in Nigeria.

Actually, Opay and MoniePoint has killed those useless so called "Big Banks" but the banks dont know it yet. The redundancy that those old banks will do by 2027 will be ground shaking.

I cant remember the last time i did any transaction on my Access Bank, FCMB and GT. In fact, since january 2025 to date, av not been any banking hall. Very useless thieves masquerading as banks.

I know very soon private sector go enter electricity generation and distribution - that will be the end of NEPA and their wahala.

In 2026, somebody is still talking about going to a banking hall for simple transaction that take less a minute on app and USSD.

If they check personal effects of the deceased drawer or cupboard, they'll see it there. Definitely, children will know the location of where where daddy or mommy keeps restricted objects.

I've had the privilege of using bank services from both Opay and Moniepoint and I prefer Opay any day, any time.

The regularly checks that commercial banks need to go through and pass, Opay and those other finetchs do not go through up to 30% of it.

Audit checks on regular banks include review of performance and attendance of directors both executive and non-executive to meetings; which finetech goes through this process of audit review

Do you know that if the MD of a regular becomes incapacitated or drops dead, the next day a replacement will step into his shows and the bank will continue business as usual with minimal disruption to its operations; most of these finetechs are one-man business therefore if something similar happens to them that will likely be the end of that company.

I pity those of you who are keeping your entire life savings in finetechs...you are playing with fire but you don't know yet!!!
