Broilers problem is marketing, they will buy them on credit and own you. It is so tiring.

Broilers that are as fragile as anything. All it takes is one mistake, disease or even adverse weather and you're done for.

Every business is barely surviving under tinubu, so don't allow anyone gaslight with apc make believe propaganda.

Poultry business is very very risky. That's why it's always difficult to get funds to finance the business. Rather, farmers depend on government loans/grants.

But you must always make sales to the point of constantly running out of stocks because people must eat.

I can relate. My wife is also doing well in this field

Whatsoever you lay your hands on, You shall prosper!.

Broiler business is profitable.
First add passion and remove greed.

Then, prepare yourself with basic knowledge and technical know how.

Equip yourself with smooth and smart marketing strategy.

And lastly, be straight forward with dealings to escape Karma.

That is a dirty way of poultry biz...get a wired cage and make things decent...

My sis uses that cage and rears and harvest 70crates of eggs daily...

you are very right….layers for egg production is still the best, I have a poultry farm too and I invested money in boiler sometime ago and i regretted it, so I just focus on egg production.

Na layers get me. Broilers have too much wahala. People buy eggs every day. When broilers mature, buyers act like they don’t require protein for sustenance. They frustrate one’s efforts to sell off the birds.

For you to maximise broilers business, combine it with cold room and catfish farming as well.
Do I need to break down why?

I would prefer layers' production.
However, there should be an option of doing both .
Say a 70% layers stock and 30% broiler stock .
One can start small , subsistence level first

Either he has frozen store for chicken storage or farm feed materials himself in a vast land, if he hopes on buyers after they’re ready to be sold then he’s screwed

If you have space of course there is money in poultry or anything farming but it’s a tasking thing to do

Your on point dear, because this is exactly what rubbish my cousin. He was so concerned about the size of bird. And secondly he was so focused on buying expensive feed because they someone told him, the more he uses professional feed, the faster the growth of the chicken. At the end he Lost over 1M in just a period of 4 months.

I started this as side hustle last two months with 15 broilers chicken, now it's grow to 270, always selling after 6weeks,trying to expand it 2000 per batch before December. Don't forget to patronize me for bulk purchase.
