You guys are still trying to argue with raumdeauter as though it's a rational human. Seems like i need to remind you guys of the political opinions this guy hold and make you realize you're pouring water on a rock. IT'S NOT AMALA TURNING!! IT'S WICKEDNESS!!! We're talking of someone that's pro-genocide against his countrymen. What the fvck do you guys expect?

BlueRayDick:Goalpost shifting is allowed. Even a Primary 3 student will understand what the word "vocal" means in the context of your statement. You said: "Pastor Adeboye was vocal against the last two administrations when things weren't looking good."Yet, the evidence presented shows that he spoke publicly about insecurity only once during Jonathan 6year administration. You also said: "Perhaps you think it is okay for him to keep quiet now when he has been vocal in the past."But Pastor Adeboye has also spoken during this Tinubu's administration once in less than 3 years of his administration So how does speaking once in 6 years qualify as being "vocal," while speaking once in less than 3 years is considered "keeping quiet"? |

raumdeuter:Don't worry, the sensible Yorubas that called out Adeboye have made him to give a 90 day ultimatum or Tinubu should resign Even though I don't trust him at all, at least unlike you, he has acknowledged that Tinubu is a failure |

MorataFC:Omo even you that is accusing others of being "agenda driven" is also obviously pushing an Agenda. FYI Tinubu has already done 3yrs of his administration, yet you first used 2yrs for him and now less than 3yrs when comparing to Jonathan's and Buhari's? Also, your whole point of "number of times" isn't really solid cos anyone can easily see the intensity of Pa Adeboye's criticism of Jonathan vs Tinubu, is it comparable? 9ja politics will always be agenda-driven in the eyes of differing groups, so no need for pot calling kettle black here. All that matter is that the call-outs and online backlash eventually yielded a positive result (the 90-days ultimatum message) so at the end it was a net-positive thing. |

MorataFC:So long and short of what you are saying is that vocal to you means someone speaking up more than once ? ![]() You are literally forcing ur own definition of the adjective "Vocal" on me, Now I see where the problem is coming from. Adeboye petitioning Jonathan over insecurity and backing the petition up with a threat of protest was him being vocal. Adeboye Taking to the street carrying placard under Buhari's government to protest/observe "prayer walk" was him being vocal. Now are people wrong to expect him to be vocal in similar fashion under Tinubu's government? My personal opinion: NO! I don't know why you are typing plenty paragraphs honestly . |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by OkpaNsukkaisBae(m): 5:33pm On Jun 03 |
BlueRayDick:Exactly. And some of this insecurity issues are underreported, social media no dey capture most of dem. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 5:47pm On Jun 03 |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:Plenty of the insecurity issues don't even make the news. If you go on TikTok you will see videos of some victims recounting their kidnap experiences and how their families even sold properties to finance their ransom payment |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Roland17(m): 5:54pm On Jun 03 |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:This reminds me of when people laugh at the crime rates/ statistics in the US. Shebi na because we get data? Crime in Nigeria is grossly under-reported. If we had a near accurate data of the number of crimes committed per hour in Nigeria, you'd confirm Nigeria is at the brink of collapse. I don't want to even focus on the popular ones like banditry, kidnapping etc..For instance, the amount of deaths that resulted from neglect by medical professional is seriously underreported. Do you know the number of convictions that would have been recorded if those were pursued? How about Homicides? Do you know the number of bodies littered in waters in Nigeria? Baba, Nigeria itself, is a crime scene. |

BlueRayDick:They should be made redundant, not retired Retirement is a lifetime obligation while ex-gratia is a one off payment |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by GloriousGbola: 6:10pm On Jun 03 |
Ibime:Depending on the situation, they will likely return as contractors or get jobs elsewhere. Also their pension is intact and seperate from the ex gratia I know a lot of guys who got exit package and then got jobs almost instantly Hindsight is 20/20 (didn't go that route) |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 6:22pm On Jun 03 |
Ibime:There was a lot of fuss about it in the news back then. The house of assembly had a seesion on it and the invited the CBN governor to come address the allegations. I think eventually Cardoso appeared before the house and claimed it was voluntary exit and that nobody was forced to leave. They paid them over 50 billion is total as severance package. What I don't know is if they would pay them subsequent periodical pension (like staff who retire after completing stautory number of years for retirement) or if the one-off exgratia is all they would get. |

[quote author=Ellexy post=139606927]No lies told.. point she made about them using tribe to deflect and make people forget about insecurity is what I was saying here. APC govt have mastered the art of making every discussion about tribe. And their supporters, both the ones paid and the ones doing it for free, understands this..and thats their only weapon to neutralize the criticism directed at that incompetent man. I remember when their major tactic was " qhat could Obi have done" |

BlueRayDick:Your pension is handled by your PFA and you have limited access to it. Also if you have a correct PFA it will continue to increase. My pension funds have likely doubled since 2019. |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by MorataFC: 7:10pm On Jun 03 |
Potvalor:So you've been misled too? If I tell you that the s 90day ultimatum was not issued this year, would that surprise you? Pastor Adeboye gave Tinubu the 90 day ultimatum last year, yet no single media reported it. Even the most important part of the message was largely ignored. You are free to believe whatever you choose, but it's always wise to verify claims before accepting them as facts. Not everything circulating online tells the full story. I know this may come as a surprise to you, but that is exactly why fact checking is important. |

What is the president doing to release those kids that are kidnapped for crying out loud. Little children for God sake. Those kidnappers/bandits/ terrorists are not humans. How can you be kidnapping kids! Which kind of wickedness is this. |

I personally believe that our forests can be policed. Is it really that hard to organize vigilantes? The first executive order should be that nobody should be found in the forest again. If dem catch you, automatic jail straight |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Potvalor: 8:01pm On Jun 03 |
MorataFC:Sorry my bad, fake news na serious issue for 9ja media space. You're right, just checked and can confirm that the 90 days ultimatum mesaage was actually an old recycled news from November 2025 (related to the Trump's government initial threat to 9ja during the Christian genocide discussion). This probably strengthens the earlier argument that Pa Adeboye "seems more lenient" towards Tinubu government insecurity crisis over Jonathan cos reading the full transcript it seems more like a friendly advice than criticism compared to the Jonathan's transcript of 2010 Independence message and the rumored planned of a protest (even though it didn't later happen). Just my opinion though. P.S.: I am not even interested in the whole argument. I only decided to drop a comment because you were accusing others of the same bias your posts showed. |
