TemporaryHansel:😂😂😂 The funny thing is that Pastor Adeboye has already criticized this administration and raised concerns about insecurity since last year, but the media kept it away from you because it did not fit the narrative many people wanted to push. The media gives people what they want to hear, not what they need to know. The way and manner he criticized Jonathan over insecurity, he has also criticized Tinubu over insecurity and even issued him a 90days ultimatum to find a lasting solution to kidnapping and insurgency. That happened last year ooo, but the media kept it away from you. Two months ago, he was advising his children on who to marry and who not to marry, and that story dominated the media space for almost a week. Which of these issues is more important to our national interest? So media gave you the one you wanted to hear and kept away the one you needed to know far away from you. |

MorataFC:I'm trying to learn and free my mind of any propaganda Kindly show us where he criticized this administration last year. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Ellexy: 9:56am On Jun 04 |
Emaprince:Or like when he also went to Benue for the same reason but never visited the location or the victims but turned the whole thing to campaign and had primary school pupils standing in the rain. He doesn't have empathy at all. |

izzou:I'm also interested in this "Last year criticism of Tinubu's administration by Adeboye " that he speaks of. |

izzou:Are you saying you're not aware of the news that has dominated media space this week, even though the statement was actually made last year? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 11:28am On Jun 04 |
MorataFC:My brother, don't do this, abeg! Like I said, I am not trying to argue with you. I am very convinced that Adeboye has never criticized this administration. Emphasis on CRITICIZE (We can look up the meaning in the dictionary if you want) You said he has criticized this administration last year. These were your own words. Just show me where he CRITICIZED THIS ADMINISTRATION. Don't bother about what I heard or saw. Just put the link here. Thank you, my Chief |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by MorataFC: 11:51am On Jun 04 |
izzou:This is exactly the double standard we are talking about. There was insecurity during Jonathan's administration, and when Pastor Adeboye petitioned Jonathan over it, that was considered criticism. There is insecurity during Tinubu administration, and Pastor Adeboye not only raise concerns but reportedly gave the government a 90day ultimatum to address the situation. Yet suddenly, that is no longer considered criticism. How can the same action be called criticism in one case and not criticism in another? If publicly calling attention to insecurity and demanding action from a government is criticism under Jonathan, then the same standard should apply under Tinubu. If it is not criticism under Tinubu, then it was not criticism under Jonathan either. |

MorataFC:Did you see anywhere I typed "Jonathan" in my quote to you? You said Adeboye criticized this administration last year. I have simply asked you to show me where he criticized this administration. A simple link would answer me. I hope you know that you have quoted me twice, and deflected from answering. I won't bother to drag this matter. You have already given us the answer to my question. Ranka Dede, Maigida |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 12:06pm On Jun 04 |
See the Criticism that MorataFC is very shy of posting. Maybe it's me that don't understand the word "Criticize", or "Ultimatum" He said, “You can only advise the commander-in-chief. You can’t command him, because if you command the commander-in-chief, then you become the commander of the commander-in-chief. That doesn’t make sense. My greatest joy in these is that people are now beginning to ask for more from these religious leaders, and I am happy that even amongst his members, eye don dey clear small small |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 12:11pm On Jun 04 |
What happened to this version of bluntness? What happened to calling it as it is? And this is not just Adeboye, but every single religious leader that has a level of influence over a people Why can't we see this again, in a time where the deaths have tripled? "The General Overseer of the church, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, who yesterday initiated the move, insisted that it was high time religious organisations raised awareness over the depreciating standard of security in the country, adding “we cannot afford to celebrate, clinking glasses and congratulating each other when a horrendous decimation of the most vulnerable is picking up a pace and our stock of human capital heading for the abyss.”

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 12:19pm On Jun 04 |
izzou:Lmao 😂. I sense Morata is probably a member of RCCG and it doesn't sit well with him that people are calling out Adeboye to at least keep up with his reputation of using strong words to call out the government when insecurity is rife. He knows that so called advise by Adeboye won't cut it, that's why he was shying away from posting it and just wanted to use "ògbójú" to dabaru everything till u hold am for neck ![]() |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 12:21pm On Jun 04 |
izzou:Okpebholo dey give dem premium entertainment content for Edo state ![]() |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 12:24pm On Jun 04 |
BlueRayDick:Adeboye called it an "Advice" Then the part that pissed me off was "If I was asked to make suggestions, I would quietly say...." So if they didn't ask you, you won't make suggestions? You won't speak? I am still waiting for anybody that can share any link of Adeboye criticizing this government on insecurity. I don't even need economy or corruption. Just insecurity. Show us where he called out this government |

GloriousGbola:Lol To be honest, the flyover at Ramat park will ease a lot of traffic. Before now, the traffic will stretch from Ikpoba Hill to Asaba road. But I don't understand assembling children to clap for a flyover |

GloriousGbola:Those are the issues! The people who think people deserve to be killed for blasphemy and these ones who actually carried out massacre to avenge alleged Blasphemy are no different. They may try to use word salads to muddle things up , but in actual sense they aren't different. |
