Kwankwaso has never faced this type of resistance in his entire political career. Marketing Peter Obi is his hardest job and most difficult one. While Kwankwaso’s dominance remains only in Kano, the 2027 election will be a very big test even in Kano. I predict NDC can not even perform in Kano as NNPP in 2023. https://x.com/MSIngawa/status/2062178353168126381 |

Only Peter Obi can be so toxic that associating with him in any way or form destroys a political brand that one has spent decades building. To even consider that Obi can not and will never even uplift anyone or capable of pointing to any political figure he has groomed is another issue to consider So here you have someone who does not invest in the next generation and when he associates with a known brand , he destroys it overnight. The reason Obi left ADC was because Atiku whom Obi defected to the ADC in hopes of being his running mate, refused any talk of picking Obi as his running mate. Atiku knew very well that obi is not in any way sellable to the Muslim north and that's why he avoided him like a plague and only put out a statement after Obi left the ADC by recalling how Obi never contributed a dime to their 2019 joint presidential campaign. Obi is the proverbial fruitless fig tree that does not produce seeds. A selfish infertile politician that thinks only if his own innate futile ambition. |

Kwakwanso has nothing to lose, just mislead obi to the 2027 polls, they lose happily, kwakwanso goes to APC and fights for the presidential ticket which is the turn of the north in 2031 Kwakwanso might even be working with tinubu and may have been promised 2031 presidential ticket.... Nigerian politics is all about money(sadly and annoyingly so), obi no ready put money,so make he rest |

blamingthedevil:Obi does not need to win Kano. He just needs like 40 percent of the votes.. Just as Sheriff can never market Tinubu in Delta. |

FSBoperator:Abeg to disagree with you. Atiku will glad choose and welcome Obi to be his vice. The problem is with Obi who felt now is time for southern to be president hence the unwillingness to deputize Atiku. But his very undoing would be that right he thinks he should be president now instead of waiting after becoming vice first to Atiku. If the window of opportunity in 2027 slip by without forming alliance with Atiku, then he should just forget about presidency totally. |

blamingthedevil:He is finding it difficult to market obi After BAT went on his knees begging him to join him.He discovered it is impossible to market the drug baron completely in the North. So they went for the governor. Now the governor has been begging Kwankwaso to forgive him for such big mistake....lol |

Delat521:What if I tell you that even Obi does not believe he can ever win the Presidential elections and the only reason he is contesting is because he made a tonne of money from campaign contributions from ***ish billionaires wanting to instal him by force and those same ***ish billionaires through AIPAC coerced Kwankwasso to run as his VP to get northern Muslim votes by lobbying the US Congress to falsely label Kwankwaso as a one of those suppressing religious freedom. |

FSBoperator:It is southern turn. How will the drug baron even get 10k votes in SE will be a miracle in 2027...lol.Obi won South in 2023 and will still win it in 2027.Whr will the drug baron votes come from in 2027..lol |

FSBoperator:Fact check: Atiku's best appearance since contesting elections in 2007 has been with Peter Obi. Atiku Abubakar’s vice-presidential running mates were Ben Obi from Anambra State (2007), Peter Obi from Anambra State (2019), and Ifeanyi Okowa from Delta State (2023). It's difficult to find him and Ben Obi's campaign pictures of 2007, it was just his face alone in many cases. His best appearance has been with Peter Obi. In the three times he appeared on the general ballot for the presidency, Atiku Abubakar received - 2,637,848 votes (7.47%) in 2007 to finish third, - 11,262,978 votes (41.22%) in 2019 to finish second, and - 6,984,520 votes (29.07%) in 2023 to finish second once again. I believe you went to school and know what 41% means in an election compared to 29% or 7% regardless of the number of votes they pulled. In the first time the candidate he contested with in 2019 (that gave atiku his highest vote ever) went to test his popularity in 2023, tell me what was the numbers that candidate got. Obi gave him his best result in 2019 as Vice so your arguments does not hold water or as they say today, is not backed up by emperical facts. It's just made up of your personal opinion and bias which you are entitled to but cannot be considered factual or accurate.

FSBoperator:In the 2007 Nigerian presidential election, winner Umaru Musa Yar'Adua secured 24.6 million votes, runner-up Muhammadu Buhari received 6.6 million votes, and third-place Atiku Abubakar finished with 2.6 million votes. You can silence 50 scholars with one fact, but you can't silence one ee-Dee-hot with 50 facts.

TokoEkambi:He won’t pull out. He’s not really interested in 2027. He probably just don’t want to stay idle. His dream is the 2031 election. The reason he won’t work with Atiku. If Atiku wins 2031, he knows his ambition is literally over because 8 years of Atiku will mean the power will have to return to South for at least 4 years. He will probably be too old then. |
