He's talking about politicians children, not the victims.

He's saying that politicians cannot understand the challenges of the common man, because their kids are not in Nigeria
Exactly.You got the message.

Yes and that's why they're not moved, but more focused on 2027 election. The brothers should rescue themselves.

https://www./2026/06/04/i-know-the-politicians-behind-oyo-kidnappings-sunday-igboho/#:~:text=Popular%20Yoruba%20Nation,ammunition%20and%20money.
This is feedback from Popular Yoruba Nation activist Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has claimed that he knows the politicians responsible for the kidnapping incidents in Oyo State.

He also threatened to reveal their names and identities if such politicians don’t desist from their criminal actions.

Igboho made the claim and submission on Wednesday while speaking with the new executive members of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) led by Akinteye Bàbàtunde at his residence in the Soka area of Ibadan.

The activist, who spoke in a video that has gone viral on the internet, also added that he can personally fight the bandits, but all his efforts so far have not been approved by the state government.

He also denied demanding money from the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde to rescue the victims who were recently abducted by terrorists from schools in Orire Local Government Area of Oyo State.

Igboho also alleged that those behind the kidnappings are trying to make the country ungovernable for President Bola Tinubu, just as they did during the time of Goodluck Jonathan.

“If I am permitted to burst into the hideouts, they will flee. They are neither gnomes nor mannequins; they are humans, so that they could be dislodged. I know the politicians behind them, and if they do not stop perpetrating their evil acts, I will mention them all. I know them. The politicians behind them are the ones giving them ammunition and money.

Oga, insecurity does not exist independently. The politicians are the ones sponsoring the insecurity. If there are no insiders sabotaging the system, no group can perpetuate crime on a large scale repeatedly without being annihilated. Trust me, all the security agencies know their job and even know how to stop this madness but they are principalities and powers behind this thing. The more you look, The less you see!

I'm always tired of hearing 'politicans sponsored insecurity' and other tales by moonlight.

Nigeria's problem is that from independence, we started with the idea that we would sell cocoa, cotton, groundnut, palm oil etc etc, and laterrly oil and share the money equally among ourselves so that we can buy stuff.

You know what that type of economy does?

1. It engenders corruption and worsenes tribal divisions....he or she who is closer to the sharing gets more money

2. More importantly, it prevents job growth and creation. I mean why make televisions in Nigeria when we can import them from china, and why make cars in nigeria when we can import second hand from europe.

The result of this is a large mass of poor unemployed youth, who don't have work and do not have anything to do. So, what do you think they will do?

That's right, kidnap. And rob and steal to get their share of the national cake.

Countries that focus on industries and industrial development, even the guy with primary six attempted will find a job with one of the numerous factories springing up. Or one of the businesses that are growing from the factories springing up. Result, while there will be crime, the number of young people involved will reduce

That's a big part of why I don't take tinubu, obi, atiku and company serious. Even Sowore. All of them campaign on sharing cake and roads, roads and more roads. Meanwhile all of them keep quiet about government policies that stifle growth in the electricity sector, and refuse to improve taxation money, andfight corruption totally.

As long as you run an economy where you dey share national cake, e go be as it be, no matter who is in charge.

And the scary thing is that if they partition this country, it would be the same story. Many of the people fighting to break up Nigeria have the same idea as many of the people fighting for one nigeria...sharing money. The result is that we go get mini nigerias, with the added burden of fighting for oil money by force of arms.

This is more reason politicians' children should be banned from schooling abroad. Politicians and their relatives should also be banned from seeking medical treatment abroad.

Now imagine this kind of hate speech displayed by this id!@t on X, is this not pure hate for another tribe?, So if there is a competent leader to transform Nigeria, so you prefer sacrificing your l!fe and your brothers to terror!sts than see Igbo tribe rule..Terrible Nigeria. With these type of people, I don't think kidnappings will stop in Nigeria

You mean the kidnappers or bandits should be kidnapping their sponsors?
Re: Oyo School Kidnapping: ‘Our Children Are Not In Nigeria’ — Bamidele Salam by onuman: 5:52pm On Jun 04
One thought as much. The kidnappers must have been assisted with helicopters to take the children and their teachers out of Nigeria..
The Islamists behind these are bent on getting Islamic Republic of Nigeria to be governed with Sharia criminal laws. The Taliban way.

Exactly why it has persisted because it is being treated with kid's groves.
So, why dont these hypocrite-Lawmakers pass a Law, that anyone who aspires to be a Lawmaker, or hold Office as Governor, LGA Chairman, Secretary-level, Minister and President, must not have any of their Children Schooling outside Nigeria?

That should put an end to their i-dot-care attitude.

If it's not political, do you know what it takes to organize a kidnapping of not just one person but school children and the teachers

You misunderstood him.
He meant the children of Nigerian Lawmakers are not schooling within Nigeria, that is why they dont really care about other people's children being kidnapped!
There is a lot of truth in it.

Just imagine if it was 'Seyi' my neighbor that was kidnapped, do you think his father will be so aloof and be doing, celebrating APShyte primaries nomination? huh grin grin

A Man's Heart, is where his Treasure is.
