I schooled in Federal University too.

Institiution corruption is not a group something like Government schools vs Private school.

What determines how strict a school be in that period is the VC and some top men. But if the VC is another guy man, things will be happening. There are some private schools that you will cry if you attend.

The federal school I attended then, people were buying Certificate till one strict professor was appointed as the VC. Is all about the top men managing it at the moment and not about being private or government.

As a guy man, I can't mention schools name. The only thing that annoys me is they keep making it look like such thing are not happening in government schools.

The way the federal school senate do verify results ehh, it’s extremely hard for any lecturer to misbehave. In my school back then, many rich pikin students were sent away right from 200l cuz of low grade..

Many from my dept then, that got sent away had to port to private university..

I remembered when my *to become SUG president* then was subjected to senate panel. I was among the associates. Bro, I weak for body that day! You can’t defeat these hardcore professors in anything. They know almost every gadddamm thing

If you con get first class, those senate panel they take their special time to verify you right from your first level. Nigeria is trying in education, even tho, we should be doing way more by now..

long before private universities started operating, i have been hearing about fake certificates. I wonder how the phenomenon of fake certificate shifted to private schools and disappeared completely from public ones where it is cheaper.

There was a case involving OAU where a lady/girl who complained about sexyal harrasment and won in court, was denied as ever being a student. I think her name was Monika or something starting with letter M.
What makes you think a school that can deny a student cannot award unmeritted grade?

We need to know when the actual investigations begin. Is there a committee already set up to investigate? ... and a committee to shadow that one to prevent corruption? What are the consequences when a university is guilty of awarding fake degrees? I would expect if found guilty... the students need to be refunded... or better .. the students should sue the university for fraud.
