Point of correction Fajuyi was a Lt Col he was never a General. Note that according to TY Danjuma Fajuyi was already a marked man by the July planners because all attempts at a speedy court martial of the Jan boys was blocked by Fajuyi and also it was rumored that Fajuyi provided support to the Jan boys during a training course in Abeokuta in 1965 where all the particpators in the course ended up in that coup.

The honorable thing Fajuyi did was to ask Danjuma to ensure that Ironsi's life was to be spared.

Capt Nwoboisi didn't apologise for the Murder of Akintola , neither did he express any iota of displeasure that Ironsi, Okpara ,Osadebey ,Azikiwe and Ojukwu were spared

The second person murdered in Akintola's compound was not a soldier and not z Politician.
