I can see them, the hypocrites. Saying Iran should not fight for themselves is a big hypocrisy. If you're were sleeping in your house and one day you woke up that the person you never had mind of fighting had come to kill your family, so would you go and say thank you or you will fight the person within your capacity? The same man who placed a fatwa against the development of nuclear weapons and that fatwa is still existing till date. The only caveat to his Fatwa was that should the Islamic Republic of Iran comes under an existential threat, then this fatwa can be set aside and this is exactly what the radical elements in the IRGC seems to have done. Iran has repeatedly said that they weren't building a nuclear weapon. The intelligence community in the US has said that Iran wasn't developing a nuclear weapon. The international atomic energy agency inspectors never raised an alarm that Iran was building a nuclear weapon.
The only source of Iran few weeks away from developing a nuclear weapon since 2013 has been Benjamin Netanyahu of Isreal.
