I am a devout Redeemer. It's an affront on common sense if Pastor Enoch Adeboye denies not participating in the protest against insecurity in Nigeria. The videos are all over YouTube and other SM platforms. Baba even carried a mini-placard. Next gist abeg. |

We need him to redo the peaceful nationwide walk again. If he cannot walk on his toes, let them carry him in a wheelchair like the ark of covenant of the Israelite. |

The Right thing He Should Have Done is to persuade Tinubu to Resign in Protest to The killings of Christians And others But it Seems "Daddy GO" and His co-Pastor's "Hands" are tied. Still observing though .. |

In October 2010, the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) submitted a petition to former President Goodluck Jonathan regarding the alarming spate of kidnappings in Nigeria. Alongside the petition, the church began collecting signatures for a proposed one-million-man protest, but the street rally ultimately did not take place. Even if pastor Adeboye finally didn't go out for the protest rally, he had made a point with the petition he sent to GEJ. Apart from the proposed protest, he was always very vocal on the pulpit about the state of things in Nigeria during Goodluck Jonathan’s government. In February 2, 2020 Pastor Enoch Adeboye led a massive nationwide prayer walk (a form of peaceful protest) during the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari on the state of insecurity in Nigeria. But what has changed now? He is now under the authority of CAN. He is now waiting for the corrupt CAN to give him permission to call out the evil of Tinubu’s government. Such an excuse is not adding up. Nobody expect an elderly person to go out on a street protest. But he can use his pulpit as he used in the past. But we all know why he would not criticize Tinubu’s government. Tinubu is his tribe's man. Remi is his pastor. Tribalism isn't only destroying the nation, it's in the churches in Nigeria. I remember when he led a prayer that christians from other churches would come to bow to RCCG members. It is called BIAS.

If hypocrisy were an Olympic sport, some people in the South West would dominate it for generations. The same crowd now shouting that Pastor Adeboye is "too old" at 84 to speak on the state of Nigeria never had any problem raining insults on Pa Ayo Adebanjo at 96. They mocked him, vilified him, and some even continued after his death—all because he dared to oppose their preferred candidate. So let me get this straight: an 84-year-old man is too old to voice an opinion, but an 80-plus-year-old politician is perfectly fit to preside over the affairs of an entire nation? What a ridiculous standard. The truth is simple: age has never been the issue. Their real problem is dissent. When an elderly statesman praises their side, he's celebrated as a patriot and elder statesman. The moment he is expected to criticizes their side, he becomes "too old," "out of touch," or "irrelevant." This is the kind of shameless double standard that poisons public discourse. The selective outrage is so blatant that it would be laughable if it weren't so pathetic.
