This guy should keep quiet and go and sit down somewhere. Few times I have listened to him, he clearly lacks dept. His type of analyses is part of the problem. I have been hearing ;'they want to islamize Nigeria' since the late 1980's if not earlier. Yes, there are Muslims who aggressively promote Islam in Nigeria, just as there are christians too who promote christianity, and Sharia law get issues, especilly with minorites, but the truth is, Nigeria cannot be islamized.

First off, it would lead to anarchy. Second, it would face strong oppostion from minorites in the North, and not just the christians. Or can one explain why muslim governors in Kwara, Nassarawa, Kogi, have not implemented Sharia in their states?

Your average rich Northern power broker won';t agree because anarchy would disrupt his business ventures. Ya think that Dangote would support something that would in essence kill his money making ventures in a few weeks, because 'Islam'.

Plus all of you shouting Turkey and North Africa...remember that those areas were once under the protection of the mighty Roman empire, and when they fell, the Roman empire was weak and bankrupt, and had been since the 200's AD. Meanwhile the Islamic empire was new, fresh and had new ideas, Note that they conquered the Persian empire, which too had existed for 1300 years, and was on its last legs.

Any attempt to try the spread Islam by warwould not only again lead to anarchy, it would be worse than anything seen. We need community policing, not state police. Each neighborhood should be allowed to set up their own security networks and arm them. We must forget about relying on state or federal. They've proven to be useless against these bandits. That's the way forward.

Let private security networks be registered under the state for compliance. But now each community has the opportunity to take their own protection in their own hands. And bring back local government autonomy.

Buhari campaigned on Sharia law all over Nigeria back in the early 2000s. Then he came to power, and left power after 8 years, and not only is Sharia law not all over Nigeria, it didn't even expand to some new states. The guy saw reality.
