In the US, the unlimited data is not unlimited in the sense of the word at least for mobile data. For my home i use Fiber and they promised 1GB . I typically use different companies for home and cell phone in case of outage so I have a backup network.

There have been times my home network provider was having issues and I'll use my mobile internet as Hotspot after a while they start throttling it. You cant use it for streaming without a significant lag even though its called unlimited. Next thing they will try to sell you an upgrade plan even that upgrade plan still get limit

My cell phone bill on 2 lines is about $200 a month

Do you even understand that a public space is where u can exercise Ur fundamental human rights like freedom of movement, freedom of association, etc all of which is entrenched in the constitution. Even the freedom of religion, these Sharia states infringe on it by dictating where you can build a church and where you can't.

For your information, the constitution supercedes any state law be it Sharia or customary law sef. So some of those nonsense u termed as "respecting the northern Muslim culture" that clashes with the position of 1999 constitution of Nigeria, the state government are actually acting in contravention of the law. A person who is nit brainwashed would speak against these things and not celebrate them.

Chairman i don stay in the North before. I have a lot of family in the north. You already mentioned the places you can live normally in Kaduna, why can't you do that everywhere in the state? Why is your freedom limited in majority moslem areas? Imagine within the same state different laws on what's acceptable

If u sample opinion of Muslims on this thread, majority of them will kick against Sharia in the southwest bar a few extremists here and there. People just want to enjoy they life and practise their religion in peace while living at peace with their neighbor. Not that they will start compelling non Muslims to fast during ramadan

The drug issue has always puzzled me. They don't drink alcohol that will intoxicate u for hours and then wear off after some time.... But they abuse drugs that is capable of making them mad over time or lead to their death sef.

If you go to any major market here in Lagos where northerners dominate, they will always have one unofficial drug market somewhere close where they get all sorts of hard drugs. Alaba rago for example, if u see the kind drugs on display those guys sell and abuse ehn....

I wonder why they would be against alcohol that is legal but embrace drugs that are illegal and not easily available OTC.

As regards marrying off underage girls, I believe that's the kind of "privilege" some extremist southerners want to enjoy hence why they ate backing calls for Sharia in the south. They want to be able to marriage underage without being looked at with disdain by members of the society.
