A police force that can pick people randomly on the street and put in jail can stage anything and cover up.

There was nothing professional about the rescue operation. All the officers were just barking commands to each other like wild dogs throughout the operation.
No coordination.

That man was the one hiding in the ceiling when the cops broke into the building. He was shot in the rump and that bullet likely hit a major artery so his fate was sealed. If you notice, the man instinctively grabbed his rump when he jumped down from the ceiling, after collecting his round of 7.62 mm in the backside, courtesy of the police officer.

That shot into the ceiling was absolutely necessary BECAUSE the suspect's hands could not be seen, meaning that he could have been holding a pistol that was all set to fire.

In the position of that police officer, I would have administered at least 3 shots into that ceiling to stop the threat decisively.

1. The police officer must give a clear warning of his intention to use a firearm.
2. The officers must allow sufficient time for the warning to be obeyed.
None of this happened in the video we saw.

That person was unarmed, trapped in the ceiling and not posing an imminent threat, the shooting is unlawful. The suspect was not reaching for a weapon, threatening hostages or creating an immediate danger.
A suspected kidnaper is still protected by the law
