You mean roughly 45 minutes, back then in the early nineties we dey fly this road 45 minutes when hold up nor dey.
I deliberately summed it up to 1hr...it's a nightmare for me each time I'm traveling down to Warri from Lagos

And it's your type that's saying that other states (APART FROM LAGOS) need to have Seaports, now Tinubu is constructing a road close to the sea and states are now giving license for seaports (OGUN, ONDO AND AKWA-IBOM so far), you're still complaining.

With the COASTAL ROAD, it will be easy to connect with any southern state (FROM SEAPORTS ALONG THE COAST) without putting any burden on the existing inner roads. WHILE AT THE SAME TIME opening up the coastline to tourism, real estate, entertainment etc. and also reduce travel time between states. The BENEFITS are enormous.
Please could your provide the source to the bolded.

The project is bigger than your obi who couldn't managed Lp and ran, who couldn't manage NDC one of the least party at the moment that did presidential primary bur shame couldn't let them tell us the result.

If we catch pipu like you on that road when completed you will blame yourself

have we declined so much to the extent that the FG working on one of hundreds of Nigerian federal roads in disrepair is worthy of recognition?

3 years in we are yet to hear of ANY federal road project that has been completed, I stand to be corrected,

Meanwhile we hear of record borrowing and tripled allocations to states but zero impact on the ground, That is why seeing even one road being worked on appears to be breaking news?

Have Nigerians been turned to dogs that feed off the crumbs thrown to them from the table of the politicians?
You just dey talk, dey yarn ..... i need to see how you maintain your house
Its like you fix only kitchen and never clean your toilet or clean your compound because only food is important to you ..... weldone o

You obviously dont understand governance and govt finance......dangote the richest man in africa still takes loans, does that make h8m a bad business man?

If the project isn't viable or having a proper funding plan nobody will touch it,no contractor or bank......you are the one who should stop being mugu by believing all the lies being peddled about the tinubu govt Nigeria is now far more stable economically than we were 10 years ago.
You're writing in the rubbish
Claiming that a govt is doing roads is usually to show people that their monies is being "spent" judiciously for their benefit
If a road is being done through loans taken by a contractor instead of capital releases from the budget then there's basically nothing to praise the govt for in that regard. Instead, the germane question will be what the govt is using the taxes and royalties for if the contractors have to borrow money to fund road projects. And also, what are the modalities for repayment and how long will it be?
Dangote is not taking loans to pay staff salaries or run daily routine business. He's taking loans for capital developments that will generate revenue for his business
Think don't just make noise

You always obsfucate ignorance and confidently chest beat about it......how can you utter so much balderdash in one post......for a contractor to even secure loans for a govt project shows you the govt is in good standing financially and evry LPO is worth every value written on it,that means your govt is solvent.....do you think banks are charity organisations that will just give out money to anyone just because its a govt contract?

I put it to you in pure language that you know zilch about governance and public finance and you expect nigerians to trust your judgement that you guys can fix the country, how is that possible when you totally have know understanding of the system you want to fix.

For some people, building a brewery for 8 years is better than the mega Lagos Calabar Coastal Road.

If madness is real, some people need to check into yaba left.....

What a truckload of ignorant nonsense
Where did you get this silly idea that banks will not give loans to a contractor for govt contracts if govt is not in good financial status?
I smh for you
So how com 2nd Niger bridge was built loans during Buhari era that everyone agrees the govt was in financial mess. What bout Lagos-Ibadan rail?
Saying that a bank will not lend money to a contractor because FG is broke is a sure sign that you don't know anything. So how did subsidy money get to such humongous sums if that was the case?
Re: Update On The Benin-sapele Road by Eyakuare: 1:19pm On Jun 08
So reconstruction of federal roads is now an achievement. Whose responsibility to fix the bad roads? They are simply doing what they are supposed to do. Let’s not bring unnecessary distractions here.
Re: Update On The Benin-sapele Road by MasterTeeUSA: 3:10pm On Jun 08
That shows you lack foresight. That new highway has more than 10X the values of land in that corridor. Will open more parts of the country to development so the population can spread out. Go and check how many new highways are being built in other countries. You need multiple routes in Nigeria, or you prefer when accident closes the only route, and you have to be in traffic for 4-5hours. Then again, an average Nigerian that complains a lot do not think like a visionary leader.

Good road developments .

The real issue facing the common man is jobs that make them meet their daily needs and expenses. That is why you will always hear Donald Trump talk about millions of Jobs created and Jobs for the American people
Those working on the roads are spirits. The companies supplying materials don't have workers abi? The people providing ancillary services around construction sites came from Ethiopia.
Re: Update On The Benin-sapele Road by thatigboman: 5:01pm On Jun 08
Why Benin-Sapele? That's East-West Road that goes from Benin all the way to Akwa Ibom. Roads should be constructed end to end, not piecemeal

I don't blame you, google the road and look at pictures of what it looked like during Obaseki's regime.

Those that use it are grateful for the changes and thank Akpakomezer and President Tinubu, you are here saying "whose responsibility"?
