Be neat as parent and teach your children too how to be neat. The school is only helping you. If the child is successful he remembers parent first not school.

What is wrong with the child's original haircut?
Besides shouldn't the school be talking with the child's parents rather than doing this?
This is completely wrong and inexcusable. If a school is not happy with a pupil's hairstyle then they should speak to the parents or guardian about it, not assaulting the child.

No sane person will do this without warning, it is either the child did not tell the parent or the parent did not take it serious

Are you sure you looked at that child properly? Shey no be grown up dey carry am go school? Why not just tell the person to go back home with the child? Must you violate an innocent kid like this?

I'd report that school to the department of education and file a lawsuit against it.

I wanted to do the same thing back in 2023 when one teacher bruised my nephew's ear with her nails, I was so infuriated, I travelled all the way from KZN to Limpopo to specifically confront her and the only thing she could do was cry... But my religious timid sister unfortunately stopped me from going through with the lawsuit, which made me even more upset... I was far more upset than my sister his mother.

The school's Vice Principal and one other teacher somehow even managed to locate our home and came to beg us for forgiveness... We had to ask the school for a transfer and immediately moved him to a new school because the boy was evidently traumatized.

I'll first ask him who did that to him.
It could be that he did it himself, or another child did that to him.

I want to believe no adult in their right mind would do that to a child that is not their own.

They must have told the grown up and if they send the child home and some negative might happened on the way. Most parent are too busy nowadays to stay with their children at home, some even see school as corporate place to keep children while they go for their daily hustle. It is well .

Will first ask the little man what happened and who did it (as you're most likely going to get the truth) then proceed to call or ask his class teacher before proceeding to meet with the proprietor/proprietress. I may get the relevant authorities/agency(ies) involved if I'm not satisfied with the outcome or explanations of the school.

A woman was crying the other day on FB that her son's hair was shaved in school. I thought it was strange until I remembered that teachers used to do that a lot to students in both public primary and secondary schools back in the days.

Although I never liked the idea, but it used to happen. This was after repeated warnings for the students to keep their hair trimmed. The only circumstance I will think it's strange is if it happened to a kid in private school. But if the kid attends a public school, then it's expected because teachers don't treat such kids with dignity.
