TROOPS OF OPERATION FANSAN YAMMA NEUTRALIZE TERRORIST, ARREST SUSPECTS AND DISRUPT CRIMINAL NETWORKS IN ZAMFARA STATE Troops of Joint Task Force North West Operation FANSAN YAMMA have continued to record successes against terrorists and bandits across Zamfara State. On 5 June 2026, troops of Sector 2 Operation FANSAN YAMMA on fighting patrol to Birnin Tsaba and Tsanu villages in Birnin Magaji Local Government Area made contact with terrorists at Birnin Tsaba village. Following a firefight, troops neutralized one terrorist and recovered seven motorcycles. On 6 June 2026, troops responded to a terrorist attack at Anguwar Sarkin Musulmi village in Kaura Namoda Local Government Area. The troops engaged the terrorists, forcing them to flee into the bush. Preliminary findings revealed that the terrorists had stolen personal belongings from residents before the arrival of troops. The incident further highlights the growing desperation of terrorist elements whose sources of sustenance and logistics have continued to come under pressure from sustained military operations. On the same day, troops responded to reports of an attack on commuters along the Kaura Namoda–Zurmi Road. Investigations showed that terrorists ambushed two civilian vehicles between Jabanda and Dauran villages in Zurmi Local Government Area. Troops secured the area, evacuated injured victims for medical treatment and have continued efforts to track the terrorists and rescue any abducted passengers. Also on 6 June 2026, troops of Sector 2 Operation FANSAN YAMMA conducting a fighting patrol to Tudun Wada and Dan Gulbi communities in Maru Local Government Area arrested eight suspected bandits at Tudun Wada. Troops recovered seven motorcycles, communication equipment, mobile phones, power banks, military-style uniforms and other items. A structure used by the suspects was also destroyed. In a related operation, troops on 5 June 2026 arrested the suspected recipient of recently intercepted ammunition at Tupa village in Shinkafi Local Government Area following intelligence exploitation. The suspect is in custody and assisting ongoing investigations. Operation FANSAN YAMMA remains committed to sustaining offensive operations against terrorists and bandits and urges members of the public to continue providing timely and credible information to security agencies. BlueRayDick:If we are serious every police checkpoint along that route will be sanctioned This is the reality, with n200 to n500 per checkpoint you could be carrying live screaming human beings and they would let you pass. |

GloriousGbola:Very annoying something. Most times when I'm driving alone, once police stop me at checkpoint and they see baby car seat at the back seat they will greet me , ask "how is the baby? " and then ask me "anything for the boys? ". I just give them anything I have (be it N500 or N1000) and they will wave me to carry on. I always have this thought :What if I'm a criminal who has dangerous weapons or even human body in my car trunk , but I disguised with that baby car seat? Is that how they will collect roger and allow me pass without doing normal police work of searching the car? |

BlueRayDick:Nigeria police are very easy to fool. Most times when I no get time for their BS I go just carry my glasses for dashboard but on top eye (10/10 they never stop me). Only time I don get extensive delays na days I forget carry my glasses comot house ![]() You con add childrens books for dashboard or back of car, or get baby carrier like you dey do, dem no go stop you lai lai. Na boys no just dey like drive without all those serenren, if not there's a way you can arrange car to signal responsible family man and you go almost never they get reason for police to stop you. I guess partly is because they shouldn't be on the road in the first place hence they need make some form of concession so they don't feel like they're the completely reprehensible characters they are...these concessions ends up creating a loophole for criminals. |

Theflint1:Very easy to fool. They assume so much and that's why criminals get away easily on our roads. That profiling they do is always their problem. They judge u based on how u present urself, some people even use stickers like NBA(they assume u are a lawyer, Army or Navy to avoid getting stopped by police and it works almost everytime. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 11:49am On Jun 09 |
Theflint1:Profiling is part of life and part of their work A suit wearing or formally dressed family man looking Theflint1 will not look like a yahoo criminal (unless the crime is insider trading or corporate crimes) and will escape scrutiny versus a music blasting tattooed earing, Dada with sagging pants Theflint1 And many times they get it right. I have heard news of 60 something year old women running drug cartels but they get away with scrutiny because they don't fit the profile of a criminal |

The Nigerian Air Force carried out a devastating strike on a terrorist convoy near Cross Kauwa and Ali Sherti in northern Borno State, targeting what appeared to be an insurgent staging area used for logistics and the planning of attacks. The operation resulted in the destruction of multiple vehicles and the neutralization of several terrorists who were attempting to regroup within the Lake Chad axis. The mission began on June 6 when an ISR platform established persistent surveillance over a suspected terrorist enclave at Cross Kauwa. The location exhibited significant signs of insurgent activity. During the surveillance mission, operators positively identified approximately 12 vehicles hidden beneath tree cover and observed suspected terrorists moving between concealed positions in an apparent effort to evade aerial detection. The intelligence gathered confirmed the site's role as a key operational hub, prompting the subsequent airstrike. A follow on airstrike engaged a concentration of vehicles inside the hideout. The munition scored direct hits on four vehicles and inflicted significant damage on the target area. |

BlueRayDick:Isnt this like when our police will catch a thief or kidnapper, instead of keeping him so they can extract as much informations as possible from him in order to nab his crews, they will rather shoot and end the story right there. Is there something they are trying to hide here? The quick demolition is suspicious. |

raumdeuter:Chief, would you say Nigeria has 2.2M Billionaires? Some dude here is arguing that to be in the top 1% in Naija you need to have asset worth 1Billion, I would think more like N100M which kinda falls flat when around half of the houses in Lagos alone are priced over N100M. |

MorataFC:Yea, the duplicity of the religion makes it difficult to manage when it comes to the application of the law. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Roland17(m): 5:01pm On Jun 09 |
BlueRayDick:The annoying part is that there is no court order, just wake up once day and bulldoze someone's house. I mean, even if there is an existing law, there has to be a process for the application of the law. Our lack of strong institutions is a big problem for this country. We are just winging this thing called Nigeria at this point. |

BlueRayDick:Are you sure? Because the statistics I came across online including a Nairaland thread were quite damning. I was seeing figures of around 60 to 65% Muslim in Oyo and 50 to 55% in Osun. |

Kim Kardashian must be a demon under the sheets cause how else does she keep bagging these male celebrities. So Lewis Hamilton can't find someone younger to date it's an old hag like Kim. |

From my observation, I believe a lot of women who fvck their husbands up when they move to Europe and the US had been tolerating a lot when they were still in Nigeria. A lot of Nigerian men are quite abusive, they won't admit this in public, but it is more common than people think. In Nigeria, these women tolerate all forms of abuse and can't respond or leave due to the extremely conservative nature of our society, and other factors. But when they move over to the UK, for example, and the husband tries to replicate that same abuse there, the wife will respond or leave because of resentment, and also because those factors that were hindering her no longer exist. The point I'm trying to make is, if you get to the root of a lot of these stories, the men are abusive. I know people who took their wives abroad and have no such stories, because they were never highhanded while here. |
