raumdeuter:Normal. How they address someone wearing a quality senator and someone wearing casual jeans and sneakers will obviously be different. If they stop you, and you're wearing casual wears, and also in all these cars that are mostly used by fraudsters, they must delay you. This is mostly a Benz and Lexus problem. |

raumdeuter:Depends on location too sha. $1m will likely make you top 5% in Lagos and Abuja but definitely not top 1%, but in places like Delta, Bayelsa, Edo, Akwa Ibom etc, you're comfortably in the top 1% if you have $1m. |

Julian Alvarez for £150m? These people are ruining football. Players like that shouldn't be going for more than 60m. |

For anyone who is still interested in visiting the U.S. 😁 Note that this is additional to the regular $185 visa application fee + $250 visa “integrity fee + ($5,000 or $10,000, or $15,000 refundable visa bond)

Olowunl01:I dont think 2.2m Nigerians have over 1bn Naira. 2.2 bn is the population of a state According to my quick AI search Top African Countries by Number of US-Dollar Millionaires Rank Country Approx. Number of Millionaires 1 South Africa ~37,400 2 Egypt ~15,600 3 Nigeria ~8,200 4 Kenya ~7,200 5 Morocco ~6,800 If I say Nigerians worth $700k and above I think around 50,000 still a far cry from 2.2m 100M is a lot of money in Nigerian context when you consider the whole country, 100M might be water in Banana Island, but some states dey wey dem no go get reach 100 people resident there with 100m |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 8:38pm On Jun 09 |
TemporaryHansel:This is true, Now imagine in a state like Ekiti, Gombe Ebonyi, Zamfara that number will even be less |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by TemporaryHansel(m): 8:54pm On Jun 09 |
raumdeuter:Even $300k will allow you live like a king in these states. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by TemporaryHansel(m): 9:00pm On Jun 09 |
raumdeuter:Fact. 50,000 is a far cry sef in my opinion. I doubt there are up to 50k people living in Nigeria who have $700k. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 9:08pm On Jun 09 |
TemporaryHansel:The problem is that once you clock $300k, you won't live in any of those places. You'll run to the following 3 Lagos Abuja (PH, Enugu, Asaba, Uyo) Make I get $1m for Zamfara, come dey spend $10k monthly on convoy? Nope Nope |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 9:08pm On Jun 09 |
TemporaryHansel:Differentiate between those who have that amount and those who are worth that amount Some people are sitting on real estate worth 500m on the Island, Not saying they are this number but make sure you are considering all assets |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 9:09pm On Jun 09 |
izzou:Even their politicians will not stay in those states. Almost all their former governors do not live there before and after office, They barely stay in the state even while in office |

China abeg!

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 9:14pm On Jun 09 |
raumdeuter:Yes nau. 80% of Nigeria's multi millionaires can be found in those few cities. Without anyone telling you sef, you will run out of Zamfara when you clock a million USD |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by TemporaryHansel(m): 9:20pm On Jun 09 |
Low-key Nigeria poor oh, but when you see lifestyle portrayed on social media you'll think all Nigerians are billionaires. Meanwhile, there are still towns and lgas in Nigeria still in the 18th century. ![]() |

Segedinho:The prodigal sons, after wasting our gallant soldiers will still collect their monthly stipend which might be more than the salaries of the slain soldiers from the government. What a country! |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 11:17pm On Jun 09 |
Segedinho:May the departed souls of the soldiers rest in peace, We have some who will mock them for choosing to defend the rest of us. I will rather honor their lives and memories All these caught bandits should be given instant justice, No time for repentance |

This country is finished. Bandits were doing giveaways on TikTok and thousands of people were dropping their account numbers. In total close to 40million was shared out. No sense of shame whatsoever. These are the same people that will easily sell their vote for a bottle of coke and 2k. |

When Elder talks about not really understanding the rationale behind young men still joining the army, it looks as if he's denigrating the memories of those young men fighting on the front lines to keep us safe. However, on deeper reflection one can't but wonder what is really that thing motivating our bright young people to join the army in the corrupt state it is with selfish corrupt superiors heading our military. The lady in the video below came online to reveal her brother recently died in active combat as a soldier and the army authorities are asking their family to pay N2m as cost of transporting his corpse to the family compound where they intend to bury him. To think their father was also a soldier before he died. And now they are being treated this way I mean why will my father be a soldier and I will still join Nigerian army in its current state? From the environment of their home, it even shows their father didn't make much from his career as a soldier, so why did the son also join the job only to lose his life in such tragic way? It now looks as if the male in their family just dey sacrifice their lives for naija wey no really care about them.

The story is too bizarre and crazy. |

Amigoos1:Why are you surprised though? No be the same Nigerians who celebrate yahoo? Kidnappers and terrorists would not be this successful if they did not have extensive local support of easily compromised Nigerians. How much local support does each kidnap gang have? This is imho why they immediately demolished that house in ibadan. Because there is enough in that house that will implicate several people In hindsight the kidnappers may not have realize d the Adelabu being kidnapped was a ministers sister |

GloriousGbola:Why do u always dismiss people's pains as chasing clout ? So u are saying her brother serving in the army did not die? or You are saying the people she has been talking to in the army have not requested N2m from her family to bring their son home ? Like, do you think somebody will think of all the things she can use to chase clout and it is her brother's death she would use ? You can say the story is crazy because if true, it shows how corrupt our military and government agencies are; but that it is not possible ? No now! |
