Sizeable number of those that are benefitting from this service despise the APC government in Lagos state.
If you watch youtube videos of lagos blue line, passengers accent is so Igbo-ish.

That is the challenge with African countries that have failed to prioritise free education of all children, focused on science and technical subjects to create a pool of workforce that can maintain these imported items, even if we can't produce them locally.

Addis Light Rail Operator Claims 19 Trains Now Running

The Addis Ababa Light Rail Transport Service Enterprise has brought 19 of its 41 trains back into operation, making progress on a network that suffered from maintenance failures and spare parts shortages for years.

China’s Export-Import Bank financed the project in 2015 at an estimated cost of around 475 million US dollar, aiming to transform urban mobility in Ethiopia’s capital. However, a lack of servicing infrastructure and difficulties maintaining rolling stock kept fewer than one-third of the trains running for much of the system’s life, limiting daily ridership to roughly 55,000–60,000 passengers—far below its potential.

“Years of inadequate maintenance capacity and spare parts scarcity undermined the system’s reliability,” said Birhan Abebaw (PhD), manager of the Addis Ababa Light Rail Transport Service Enterprise. “This fiscal year, we internally refurbished six trains and plan to service the remainder soon.”

The government continues repaying the Chinese loan while facing competing fiscal demands, complicating investments in maintenance and expansion.

Sadly, a sizeable number of those that are benefitting from this service despise the APC government in Lagos state.
The same people that such amenities doesn't not exist in their own state.
The same people that claimed the project is by world bank.
The same people that the only place their big men can move without escorts.
The same people that without them coming to Lagos, they can never experience such facilities and many more.
God will vindicate the just.
Are they riding for free?

Or how do you mean they are benefitting from the service huh

Is that how Lagosians, including the Oba also despise Kemi Badenoch and others in the UK government despite benefitting from pipe borne water, free education of their children, security, good roads, comfortable public transport etc?

We were actually doubting the operational easiness and management of this successful expenditure by Lagos State Government but Lagos has proved every doubters wrong. I wanted the project to be handed over to pure private businesses to handle cos as we know, government doesn't have business in business operations bjt that also has come to proved wrong after all. Kudos Lagos state government. No one does it so well as Lagos state government.......

aboreofe:
The innovation behind the blue rail is amazing. Lagos is leading other States with these amazing interventions to ease the traffic issues in the state. Kudos

Good For All Lagosians 👍👏and Good work By the Lagos State Govt.
* However,
• - Why Is Ikorodu - AGBOWA and EPE DIVISION Not Benefitting In ROAD 🛣️ and -Rail Projects⁉️
•For Example:
Ikorodu- AGBOWA - ITOKIN ROAD Infrastructural Projects Have Been Abandoned for the 2 and half years the so called Contract Was Given, and you can see that there is:
No Expansion going on,
- No Concrete Used here- as the Terrain Can only functions well with Concrete Not Asphalt
- the Road Supposed to be 2- Lanes but the Millions of the People living Along that Corridor have been Shortchanged.
Who Are the Senators Representatives here⁉️
•- Is it because the Governor, the Commissioner, the Legislatures don't Use this Road ( that has over 1Milion Pot-holes,hence the People have been Forgotten?
🥵Cc- Hon Minister Of Works-Eng Umahi - for your Attention.
Facts and TRUTH- As Elections Are Coming,we want to know what the Govt-will tell the People.
• This Road Can Be Completed in just 6- Months,

Raillines cannot run on every street in lagos but getting the line to okoko as planned will make it more accessible and take several thousands off the roads also the cms to ajah line will do so much to eliminate traffic along the lekki epe corridor coupled with the the coastal road......this will engender improved economic productivity and will reduce transportation costs for lagosians using that route.....the red line also takes care of so many citizens living in ogun sate that would have hitherto needed to further congest the roads.

Is it that you have no clue what the phrase - LEADING Nigeria - means huh

Did you not read about the deplorable water supply situation of Enugu in the first quoted post?
Yet you blame Lagos, Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu for the deplorable water situation in Anambra and Enugu and I don't know why you should do that because each state is collecting federal allocations.

So you expect Sanwa-Olu to collect Lagos allocations and use it to fix Enugu and Anambra failed water projects while the governors of Anambra and Enugu embezzle Anambra and Enugu states allocations
Re: Lagos Blue Line Expands Service To 94 Trips Daily by Guestmale: 10:24am On Jun 10

street urchins everywhere collecting money, beggars at every junction.

Stop blaming Tinubu because your governors are collecting state allocations and not doing anything for your people.
You know that touts own every Lagos street roads and junction, which is quite sad to see

you can't see that anywhere in the country

This is the power of long term vision. First tried by Lateef Jakande but the military scattered it and later envisioned by Tinubu and driven by Fashola and Sanwu-olu.

Touts are also everywhere in Abia, Anambra, Enugu and Imo.

The touting in the south east is merciless and you know it. The money keke riders pay in Anambra is more than what the keke riders pay in Lagos but you chose to close your eyes to the menace in Anambra
