This one wey una don dey plenty wey dey switch to CNG like this (hmmmm).
Yeah, I have lots of friends using the CNG and one of them is even a professional installer wey dem dey yab me say I still dey use fuel for this hustle.
Some been using it over two years and still counting.
The temptation to switch is real, mehn.
At least, from what I've gathered so far, all you need is CNG of about 11k or less to gross you what fuel of 35k will do.
That's a huge saving in a week.
All my friends can't lead me to a wrong path, abi?
And from some testimonies I've seen left and right.
Hmmmmmm.
Okay oooh.

Whenever an aboki wants to clear the grass in your compound doesn't he first of all "sharpen his cutlass?" You think he wants to waste excessive hours and strength to do the same job his partner with a sharper cutlass will do?

You feel those who come up to him screaming "stop sharpening the cutlass because every time you do so it shaves off a portion of the blade and very soon you will have no more cutlass to use and work on people's farms"

How much is the cutlass itself? How much time is wasted struggling with a blunt cutlass? What of your energy expended? how much are you getting paid for every job completed with the sharpened cutlass AND HOW MUCH IS A REPLACEMENT CUTLASS IN THE MARKET?

A vehicle is a tool just like the cutlass, make your tool work efficiently for you and in no time you will have enough saved to replace it or even add a second (or third) tool to your workshop angry

I know people on this thread who have been using the CNG to do ehailing for more than 3 years now but they are still struggling on the same car and routes while some others are already on their 3rd or 4th additional vehicles and have others driving and earning for them. The funny thing is it's those people who have been useless to themselves who are the loudest in gaslighting you not to do the CNG because they are failures themselves and wish nobody gets ahead in life just like them even with all the advantages thrown in their lap. I won't mention names for now until another one comes here to open mouth and talk thrash about CNG and ehailing wink

Know the advices to take and who to take them from. This particular thread has many angels and demons grin

Be like say you get special filling station wey dey sell fuel for you for N300 per liter

abi you get special provision store wey dey give you food stuff for cheap.

Anyone wey dey support this government is either a lunatic or he life don spoil.

The hardship is unbearable at this point

Thank you bro.

Unfortunately yes. Even at 15m I would gladly buy an electric car.

It just makes business sense to do it. Esp if driving is a major part of your cashflow.

Honestly I won't advise it. Tho any competent CNG technician will physically confirm this. But if the engine was worked on fine then it sud work but u said "work on my engine couple times'. As all u need is one time to get it right.

Just be careful is my point cause cng escalates whatever issue u were managing. In you car

Low key. This is d most underrated challenge on this job. This is d first time someone is mentioning it here on this thread.
This is my biggest most feared challenge.
Because I have a soft belly and easily react to spicy food or contaminated food and water, I have fallen victim many times in my early days. Now my best friends are flagyl, loperamid and Imodium. I must have one in my car. I must say I abuse these drugs cos I can't be embarrassed again.

But if u don't mind using public toilets then malls, hotels and fast food restaurants are ur best bet. I map out the clean ones and know where to go if I am in Ikeja, Yaba, VI or Lekki.

If I ever have PTSD from this job it will be the tot of having a running stomach while on steering and I am far from my house.
Bros, repent.... That abuse will cost you dearly when you need those drugs or similar antibiotics in serious conditions... You'll become resistant, heed my warning.

Lol wetin cng wan do ur engine chief? It's just an alternative to fuel, it does NOTHIN, it even burns cleaner, ur oil takes longer to darken. Although you go face ur challenges sha, but has nothing to do with engine, maybe sensors fit frustrate you sha, but anyway, beats fuel.... No disadvantage wey i wan see wey go make me reason fuel, I'll rather quit the work if I no see gas again.

Very true. I had to remove mine due to recurring misfire problem with cng. It was a terrible experience. I'll rather get an electric car than cng
