If the new electoral law had allowed independent candidates to run without a political party, Obi wouldn't have joined any of these party of rogues to start with, he would have ran as an independent candidate without any party because Peter Obi alone is more than a political party.

Anywhere he goes, people accompany him, and anywhere he leaves, people depart and that place becomes a forgotten place just like APGA, PDP, LP and even ADC that lost its steam and tempo the moment Peter Obi left.

Bola Tinubu knows this and that was why he and his corrupt national Assembly made sure independent candidates was not allowed in the new electoral law. The obi movement is like the maga movement in USA, both feel entitled and discriminate against anything that isn't part of them. The difference, maga movement got their seat. NDC was already known before obi went there, ADC was also known before Atiku and his crew came in. Atiku successfully hijacked ADC and obi crew wanted to do the same to NDC. They failed, watch them make issues in the party like a spoilt child. APC is bad but obidients and atikulated movement are just borderline toxic. If we could dispose of them along with the other corrupt parties like PDP, Nigeria might have hope.
