This is the obvious reason why many have given up hope about Nigeria. A situation whereby a section of the masses knowing fully well what is good for the nation, but turns a blind eye or rolls out armoury to chastise and hunt down the only one with visible records of performance, integrity, fairness, patriotism, loyalty, and corruption free antecedents just to ridicule his ambition at all cost, leaves no hope for the common man in Nigeria.

No one is perfect, but if a politician has a rare score card of over 70% in integrity, whereby many are scoring below 50% it clearly shows he is the best candidate. This is how leaders are appointed in the developed and sane climes. But in our Baboon country, you must have looted billions in dollars, killed and maimed opponents in politics before you are given the platform to contest in the first place, then you pull a lot of crowd hailing and crying to your adulation as you rise to the top. Very hopeless county!

And what is your definition of integrity? Or is it about a man that laundered his state money to foreign land for himself and his family as revealed by Pandora papers? Or you want to talk about a man who deposited his state money in the bank that he is a significant shareholder or about a man whose convoy was found over N250 million naira. Nigeria has really lost every value and now defining integrity based on their love or hatred towards a person. In a saner clime, a man I defined above will not even score 10% in integrity. What a shame!
