The first time I experienced this in Yobe was when I was going for NYSC camp. I was rather amazed than terrified. Our driver drove into it and said it's a normal thing here. I video it and posted it on my status, and people were asking what movie it was.

I experienced a similar scenario in University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu State 1998 during my NYSC service.

It was a scene to be hold.......one of the wonders of mother nature.

time experiencing this in Kaltungo was depressing. Happened around 4pm when we went to the field to play football and lasted for about 30. The sky remained dark till the next day.

Yes. Those who live there see it and expect it. I want to see more videos, the videos we had last of this was taken around 2015 but I think Nigerians should document them more.

I experienced this the second day I arrived for the NYSC Orientation Camping at the permanent Orientation Camp in Wudil Kano on May 1994.

After the stamd storm passed after about and hour and half, I (we) were dusting sands from our nostrils, eyes, eyelids/lashes etc.

Walahi I wanted to leave the next day as a Lagos boy but thank God I stayed.

I will forever cherish that experience.

We are all on God's Earth. Our blessings are different and so do our challenges.

We should appreciate all.

your business, my father job made him travelled alot both within and outside the country and we are from southern part were some of them are Christians like my parent, he wanted a safer place for his family that why we based in lagos. the word you used shows the deep divide in this country, and the western part has shown to be more accommodating than you guys from the east. shame on you for your choice of word

NORTHERN NIGERIA is very beautiful.
If not for Religion, 80% of Nigerians would choose to live there. Despite the poverty, see the beautiful topography. Lagos comes no close to this at all.
