Man recovers large quantity of food after caterer allegedly said ₦5M worth of meals finished in hours

A man has stirred reactions online after sharing a video showing several food items he claimed were recovered from a caterer who had allegedly reported that food worth ₦5 million was exhausted in less than four hours at an event.

In the video, multiple cooler flasks containing chicken, rice, soup, beef, and other assorted food items could be seen.

The man alleged that the food was discovered after concerns were raised about how quickly the catering supplies had supposedly run out.

The footage has generated widespread debate on social media, with many users questioning event catering practices and calling for greater accountability and transparency when handling large food budgets.

Some yrs ago my childhood buddy was getting married in abj. He placed me to be in charge of the reception @ silverbird (the hall downstairs). I was just monitoring activities during the "item 7" session, went into a small store around where the caterer and her people were stationed, saw them aggressively transferring rice and meat into their own separate cooler. I was like WTF!!!
Omo! I was highly disappointed in the madam cos we had pallied up, sort of (held series of meetings before the said day to make sure things ran smoothly).
