What 2million naira could buy in 1999, you need 70 million to buy it now. I was shocked by how useless the naira has become and the level of inflation. |

OPERATION HADIN KAI RECORDS MAJOR SUCCESS AS HIGH-PROFILE ISWAP COMMANDERS SURRENDER UNDER SUSTAINED MILITARY PRESSURE Operation HADIN KAI has recorded another significant success in the ongoing counter-terrorism campaign following the surrender of two high-profile Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) commanders to troops on 8 June 2026. The surrendered terrorists, identified as Ismail Mohammed and Abu Umar, are currently in military custody and undergoing appropriate profiling and debriefing procedures. Preliminary assessments indicate that the two individuals occupied strategic positions within the terrorist hierarchy and operated within the Mangari axis of the Lake Chad region. One of the surrendered commanders, Ismail Mohammed was a close associate of senior ISWAP Leader Baa Shuwa and possessed extensive knowledge of the group’s command structure and activities. The second individual, Abu Umar, was widely known within the terrorist network as a skilled explosives specialist with responsibilities linked to the fabrication and maintenance of vehicle borne improvised explosive devices and other combat-support equipment used by the terrorists. Interrogation further revealed that another high profile terrorist, Mohammed Khalifa, a member the ISWAP Shurah Council was neutralised during the joint operations by OPHK. The surrender of the two commanders represents a major setback to the terrorist organisation, particularly given their experience, influence and technical expertise acquired over several years within the insurgent network. Their decision to flee and surrender further underscores the effectiveness of sustained offensive operations by troops of Operation HADIN KAI, complemented by precision engagements conducted with the support of Allied Partners against terrorist enclaves across the Theatre. The combined pressure from these operations continues to degrade terrorist capabilities, weaken their operational networks, and compel increasing numbers of insurgents to surrender. This development further demonstrates the growing desperation and declining morale within terrorist ranks as relentless military pressure continues to deny them freedom of action and safe havens. It also reinforces the effectiveness of ongoing efforts aimed at dismantling terrorist leadership structures and disrupting their operational capabilities. Operation HADIN KAI remains committed to maintaining relentless pressure on all terrorist elements. The military will continue to exploit all available opportunities to dismantle terrorist networks and restore lasting stability to affected communities. HARUNA M SANI Lieutenant Colonel Acting Media Information Officer Headquarters Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI 11 June 2026 |

“As I speak from yesterday till now we have picked most of them, as I speak to you now we've picked another Two of them and let me tell you we don't have department of arrest once we get you we will send you to where you belong. This is our land. This is our state. We cannot leave it in the hands of criminals. Give us credible information. Do not harbour criminals, and do not provide them with logistics or support. I am not afraid of any criminal or their sponsors. They will come, and we will deal with them. Enough is enough. We are not going to play politics with the lives of our people. Spy360:Na people like you will show images of brand new cars was going for 5,000 Naira in 1980 and be shouting, then you wont ask, why was everyone in 1980 not able to buy the brand new car. Smart people will also research and find out that around 1999 the national minimum wage was N250. So getting your hands on N3m in 1999 is probably harder than getting your hand on N70m today |

raumdeuter:Assuming without conceding that you're right with your analysis, does that make you happy? Isn't it an admission that Tinubu has failed like every other past leaders we have had? Back to your analysis, minimum wage was not N250 in 1999. Besides, what that money will buy in 1999, N250,000 cannot buy it today because of Tinubu. That N250 was house rent money for a decent flat in 1999. |

OkpaNsukkaisBae:I am an ex - atheist too. So I know how it is to think the way you do. Most of the so called MOG are charlatans. They appropriate healing powers to themselves to deceive people. The true MOGs are the simple believers trusting God for mercy and compassion daily and not belle worshipping self called minions masquerading as priests |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 4:23pm On Jun 12 |
Spy360:Does it make me happy that a car was 5k in 1980 but 50m in 2026? What type of question is that? Inflation is a part of life. Or you think Tinubu was the reason for the inflation from 1980 to now? What type of house will you rent for N250 in 1999, Ask those in University in 1999 how much was a bedspace in a school where you share a small room with 6 other occupants Check this link an article in 2000 about minimum wage https://www.thenewhumanitarian.org/report/14158/nigeria-government-raises-minimum-wage |

Spy360:The true MOGs who are simple believers trusting God for mercy & compassion according to you, what's stopping them from going to Amaku to heal the sick. After all this is what Jesus did. (Luke 8:51-55) "When he arrived at the house of Jairus, he did not let anyone go in with him except Peter, John and James, and the child’s father and mother. Meanwhile, all the people were wailing and mourningg for her. “Stop wailing,” Jesus said. “She is not dead but asleep.” |

Sportsweb:Omo, Whites vs Blacks in America is like Aiye vs Eiye. Zimmerman kills Trayvon. Karmelo Anthony knifes Metcalfe. I expect tensions to heat to the max sometime around 2058 when there is no longer a clear Racial majority in the US and we just might witness another Civil War. The foundations of that country is built above the embers of deep burning hatred that still persists till this day. |

raumdeuter:Originally, when I saw the news of the ref that was denied entry, I wasn't sure how to interpret it but I knew I needed to wait for the DHS's explanation and to be honest, I am satisfied with their reason. The US is well within it's right to deny anyone with suspicious ties/ links to terrorism. Does it mean they are right? No but why take the risk if there is intelligence that supports it. With Partey, they (Canada in this instance) have gone too far and it's a shame people have made themselves the law/ courts. He pleaded not guilty and the trial is not until next year, so what is all this nonsense? First England say they won't extend a handshake to him and now this! If I am Ghana, if England choose not to shake Partey, then the entire team will not shake hands with England. This rubbish needs to stop. He is innocent until proven guilty, this doesn't support any action he may have taken or not taken but allow the courts do their job. |

TemporaryHansel:That’s a Right-Wing talking point I don’t think Obama is the reason at all for this. These are all pre-existing issues before Obama was even born. We can hea back in time to the 1992 L.A riots to see how far back racial tensions have been stoked in the United States of America. Matter of fact, I would argue that Obama‘s presidency simply took off the blankets from hot coals so they can burst into flames once again |

Roland17:Always trust you to be a consistent common sense poster If you follow the case of Embolo you will see he was blocked for a pending criminal case. While the case was on appeal Embolo was allowed into the US when the case was denied he was blocked I think they eventually allowed Embolo in to the US Despite hosting a global tournament a country can still decide who will enter their country and not compromise their security Just like Saudi denied Gumi entry from participating in Hajj |

Roland17:Qatar didn't do half of what the US have done in this WC, and yet the West cried and groaned like the Israelites of old. What of hundreds of CIV supporters that were denied entry? Na terrorism links too? The list of referees wasn't generated last week. Wouldn't it have been better to strike out his name from the start, than making him jump on a flight, only to be humiliated at the airport....I mean, this is AFRICA'S BEST REFEREEE. You're still right about the "US has the right sha" |
