Osa Director is the National Publicity Secretary of the NDC and one of the 33 announced today to be conferred by President Tinubu

Director was the Kano bureau chief of TELL magazine during the June 12 struggle

Mr. Osa Director, the National Publicity Secretary of the NDC, is being announced as recipient of National honour by Tinubu.

So the NDC Publicity Secretary is in the good books of APC.

Please go back & look at the National Honours Act & also the history of the #NationalHonours system. When Shehu Shagari conferred #Nigeria's highest national honour - GCFR - on him in 1981, Obafemi Awolowo was the leader of the Opposition UPN.

I do not know what you know about @DirectorOsa or the sacrifices he made for the rights you exercise or how close he came to being killed more than once? Osa Director is that rare species who truly ennoble the #NationalHonours. I am glad he is being recognized & honoured.

With or without Tinubu, Osa Director earned the gratitude of his country.

Today is June 12 which is set aside to mark both democracy day and the date our transition to democratic rule was truncated by the military with assistance from characters like Arthur Nzeribe whom Obi was running errands for in his ABN.

It was even Obi that served the court order to the then NEC office in Abuja to halt the announcement of the results of the 1993 elections.

We know Tinubu is playing a dangerous game. Who knew NDC before Peter decided to join the party? Probably a handful of people. Anything to destabilize the party. The earlier you know that Peter Obi is a threat to majority of Nigerian politicians including Tinubu, the better for you.
