Starz825:Mali and Burkina are in a bigger mess than Nigeria, especially security wise Rwanda is only good in the capital..outside, it's a typical African country Gabon is a poor country too. Botswana is a small country that produces very large amounts of diamonds, probably as much as South Africa, but they got 2 million people. When the diamonds run out dem go dey poor. Many of you Nigerians do not want to vote sane leaders, Na Tinubu and emilokan type leaders you want. Until you vote leaders that would be committed to using our natural resources to develop exportable goods and stop thinking that everything must be cheap, especially electricity and fuel, we will remain where we are. Dangote is rich because he is using raw materials to make exportable goods. Most African nations would be richer if they made that the cornerstone of their economy |

Hamzaay:Okay, overthrow the government, take all the money from the rich and redistribute it. It works until the money runs out, then you will start taking loans again and force people to live in poverty to save money It's been done many times before. Ended badly |

tegrianonigltd:So we should believe the lie that other African countries are developed? Plus I have told you folk what needs to be done several times including in the post I put up that you quoted. But you guys think that we are Saudi Arabia. That all.we need to do is to sell oil money and share it equitably and we go dey all right. That's not how to become a prosperous nation, that's how to become a debtor nation Like Nigeria , like Africa |

Well it’s expected of him to get richer and richer . He who has such opportunities should be rich ….. The only ways is to give back to his beloved country by touching live of average Nigerians , that’s why God make them rich . They can not take the wealth wnd riches to heaven. That one is very very 100 percent sure . Dangote touch lives oooooo |
| Re: Dangote’s Fresh $36.5bn Fortune Now Exceeds GDP Of Rwanda, Mali, Burkina Faso by Starz825(m): 6:32am On Jun 13 |
nairalanda1:You are just ignorant...its still a needless comparison... Meanwhile, I don't rate individuals who think the pple are to be blamed for electing bad leaders. Very unreasonable The system and structure of election+governance in Nigeria is so corrupt that, modern day crooks in politics don't directly need Nigerians vote to rig election....they just need u all to line up for protocol sake while the ballot papers are secretly filled behind the scene. This is the reason why people like obi can not be president. You have to be corrupt to win a major election in the present NIGERIA. |

nairalanda1:I guess it's not Obi you are referring to, as sane leader? Because we saw his achievements as a leader in the past, and he was not better than Tinubu and others. The same Obi that just said, he wont know Nigeria problems, until he becomes president, if he doesn't know Nigeria problems before president, how did he want to prepare in other to confront Nigeria's hydraheaded problems? |

The bandits are cashing out. Both the ones in the bushes and the ones in offices. When the people are getting more into poverty you are now making more money. Connect the dots. His ipo will expose him |
| Re: Dangote’s Fresh $36.5bn Fortune Now Exceeds GDP Of Rwanda, Mali, Burkina Faso by nairalanda1(m): 6:34am On Jun 13 |
Gotocourt:Many communist countries tried that and it always ended in failure. If Dangote were to be giving his money to the state, he would not be incentivised to improve production since at the end of the day the money is not his money, it is the state money. Plus why should he give all his money to the state? How is he going to pay for maintenance, upgrades , expansion , even build one more refinery self? Note that 1. Not all profits go into a rich man's pocket It is like we used to hear how Serena Williams will win 3 million dollars from winning this competiron, forgetting that she has to travel, pay.her coach and physio and pay for hotel rooms and training facilities and play in as many tournaments as possible to stay on top of the rankings. A large part of that money gone. That's why she had side businesses 2. Dangotes net worth does not mean he has that money in his bank account. That's the value of his businesses and industries |

Fiscus105:I'm cynical about all the politicans, which is why I think we should vote out Tinubu, vote in Atiku or Obi and if they do not do.well, vote them.out and continue in like vein until they learn what needs to be done. There is no hero our there , but that doesnt mean we should tolerate Tinubu failure |

nairalanda1:You all be talking about sane leaders, please who the sane leader? Is it the Agulu fraund package or Wasziri Adamawa? Tell me. |
| Re: Dangote’s Fresh $36.5bn Fortune Now Exceeds GDP Of Rwanda, Mali, Burkina Faso by nairalanda1(m): 6:38am On Jun 13 |
Basic123:Well his policy is not driving us to use our raw materials to make exportable goods and services. Not a good enough leader by that metric We gat a large youth population who needs jobs and the only.way.jobs can be generated is via manufacturing and production of manufactured goods and services |
| Re: Dangote’s Fresh $36.5bn Fortune Now Exceeds GDP Of Rwanda, Mali, Burkina Faso by nairalanda1(m): 6:41am On Jun 13 |
Hespee93:Okay, enjoy your Tinubu. And enjoy the insecurity and so forth. I agree, no hero. But that does not mean we should reward failure with continuous continuation. Yeah they are all the same, that's why we must vote out Tinubu, vote in someone new and if they mess up, out they go At some point the elite will.have to raise their game when they know we the people have them by the bolls |
