phemray:Enter the street and ask people if they know the current LP presidential candidate. Don't belittle a person's influence even if you don't like him. |

fergie001:ALL the journalists that worked in weekly magazines/journals like TELL,THE NEWS,and TEMPO deserve national honours for contributing to the exit of the military from governance. So many of them were jailed and hounded by the military for publishing the truth in those days. So many young people are ignorant of the events of those days because history is not taught in schools. These guys risked their lives. Many of them were roped into phantom coups just for doing their jobs as journalists. And they did these things WITHOUT the Internet! I perused that list and I am surprised that names of people like Colonel Dangiwa Umar and Doctor Beko Ransome Kuti,Moshood Fayemiwo,Ms Ibim Semenitari, and Mrs Chris Anyanwu are not on that list. Maybe the Presidency will include their names next year. |

boxypane:Where were they all before obi’s arrival? Where is Labour Party today? The international community already knows all these chest beating is all about rigging because it has been proven countless times that INEC and the JUDICIARY is not completely independent. So it will not be new if obi looses because the the electoral process is not transparent.. If they are serious they should pass a bill to include e-transmission of results in REAL TIME! |

Burob:Prove it by transmitting results in REAL TIME..anything less of that, no one outside Nigeria gives credit to the election. |
| Re: Osa Director National Honour: Odinkalu Replies Obidient On NDC Secretary by Burob: 1:44pm On Jun 13 |
Thewrath:That is the problem with people like yourself, u always feel more important than u really are, who cares if u don’t give any credit? |
| Re: Osa Director National Honour: Odinkalu Replies Obidient On NDC Secretary by Thewrath: 2:17pm On Jun 13 |
Burob:You don’t care but you rely on the international communities for virtually everything! Nigerians should stop bearing their dry chests and fall in line! If you are so sure of the electoral process, then include E-transmission of results in REAL TIME! Is that too much to ask from people who want change? |

LZAA:It is naive to compare Nigeria economy quagmire with that of America. Before the global recessions that shook the entire world at that time, America's economy stood on solid foundation. Nigeria problem is foundational and it will require holistic, bold and painful measures to addressing the root causes. Previous governments were window dressing the root problems because they wanted to be in the good book of the public even when they knew it was not sustainable. I could remember vividly when Nngozi iweala made a scathing remark against the government borrowing to pay workers salaries, billions of dollars to defend naira in the forex market and many others like sham subsidy. Borrowing is not totally bad provided it used for viable infrastructure development and transparency is always maintained. The present tax system initiated by the government of Tinubu is the best lately except u are mischievous and you lack comprehension on what is contained in previous tax system.... that is when you will say this present tax reform is overtaxing... |

seunowa:The 2008 financial crisis—which triggered the Great Recession—affected everyday people by causing massive job losses, widespread home foreclosures, and devastating drops in retirement savings. It prompted global banking overhauls (like the Dodd-Frank Act), long-term tightening of credit availability, and lingering economic inequality across advanced and developing economies.Key Ways the Crisis Changed SocietyHousing & Wealth Destruction: The collapse of the housing market resulted in nearly 10 million Americans losing their homes. This wiped out generational wealth for many middle-class families and created a widespread shift toward renting rather than buying.Job Losses & Career Stagnation: Widespread business failures led to soaring unemployment rates. For those who kept their jobs, wage stagnation and reduced benefits became the norm for years, heavily impacting millennials entering the workforce at the This is what took Obama 3 years 3 years to fix!!!! Meanwhile your Agbado sifu has plunged this land into mad poverty and you are expecting applause Una sef Smh Oh and FYI NOI made that statement the one time And I would advise you like someone said earlier here if una WhatsApp group drop update make una dey try VERIFY b4 una post ![]() |

Treasure17: the threat only exist in your head…..obi is a featherweight politician who was lucky to sway vote of some gullible voters using the religious kite…..but unfortunately for him, no body will be buying that stale rhetoric in 2027 and he will get far lesser vote than he got in 2023 but you can put your money where your mouth is and place a bet on him if you think he would get 6million vote or more ![]() |
