Known South African businesses in Nigeria includes MTN, Stanbic IBTC, Multichoice (DSTV, GOTv), Rand Merchant Bank, etc.

These businesses make trillions in revenue and the funds they repatriate home help their economy.

Even the few South Africans in Ghana are those investing heavily in their economy, top class expatraites who legally got in, did all their paper works, etc. That is not the same for Ghannians, Nigerians, in SA. A lot are illegal, undocumentated, doing businesses they arent meant to do. For example, the SA law says that before u hire a foreigner, u must prove that there is no South African who can do the job. But that is not the reality today, many forigners are taking jobs for low pay, establishing businesses they arent meant to go into. So, the problem was the govt, the South Africans took the law into their hands.
