May your soul find rest and your murderer and their families, children up to the seventh generations will never know peace.
Aameen to the rotten in hell of her killers and all who supported them in any way whether family or not but not to the innocent family members and those generations yet unborn

What a brave soul!!!

Her name was Janet Dairo, an NYSC service member. She left Akure on June 1 to Kwara State University to sort out an academic document.

She boarded a bus, expecting to get to her destination and continue with her life, instead, she was k!dnapped by band!ts.

If this doesn't awaken something in you, then you're dead inside.
She was holding an NYSC discharge certificate that means she was no longer an NYSC member.

Imaginative writer, where is the official report of this story? I don’t know what you children gain from concocting fake news. Yes, she may have been abducted — if the story is true to begin with. What I doubt are all the thriller movie sequences of the write-up.
Still doesn't invalidate the fact that these things happen on a daily without any form of report. You can deny that.

I’ve been emotional since the 80s. Where has it led me? Nigerians have been emotional since colonialism, independence, the civil war, military rule and now democracy. Where has it led us? What happened is not new. R.I.P. to the dead. What I hate is writers exaggerating events using concocted fantasies.

I don't believe this story, even though kidnapping is rampant in Nigeria. When exactly did this incident occur? Why wasn't it reported by any major news outlet?
It reeks of fake news from every angle—I'm not buying it.

God judgement will come upon all kidnappers, bandits, terrorists and all their supporters giving them weapons to reck havoc. They will not go unpunished, they killed sleep they'll not see sleep, they have killed peace they too will not have peace.

There should be hold to political activities and Tinubu should declare state of emergency,if he can do it in Rivers state where there was nothing like of this magnitude,he should do it for the nation.

Not everything must be proven to be d truth. I cud chat u on watsap and say I'm a guy, wud u need a price for dat or do u think everyone dat comments here under the gender or male and female also needs to prove to u for u to believe wat dey say dey are.

Truths, don't need prove! It doesn't concern itself if u believe or not. It exists!

Politicising the girl's death is the worst way to tell a story. Was she kidnapped by city boys. Stop adding unnecessary parts to an emotional story. Are you telling me that if your preferred candidate was president, then kidnapping or banditry will disappear overnight. Try to be tactful oga. I pray her soul Rest in Peace

This statement of Nigeria happening to someone has got to be the worst statement anyone can make. Has Nigeria now become a bad omen ,yet you're fighting for your candidate to become a president of a country you don't want to happen to people. If you so hate nigeria, why not relocate in peace before Nigeria happens to you too. No love for your country at all

Babtunz:
Thriller movie sequences??!

I hope this shiit called Nigeria doesn’t happen to you before you understand even the tiniest bit of the horror people who get abducted experience.

What is this one saying? Do you know the evils happening in Nigeria daily that are not reported? Do we have a functional justice system? The ones that have been reported, how many have been resolved?

Some weeks ago, a man was hit by a vehicle at the ever busy and popular Iyana-Isolo under bridge. He was alive and breathing, but the security men on duty dragged his still breathing body off the road like an animal and left.

I pleaded with the Keke drivers packed there to help me take him to the nearest hospital, but none agreed because the officers refused to do the needful (while the scorching sun was hitting the already weak body placed beside the road in the view of both pedestrians and car owners driving past(. I had never felt so much anger and helplessness in a long while.

I eventually got hold of someone with the Lagos emergency line. She promised to send an ambulance. I sincerely hope she did. I had to leave because I was fasting, weak and partially dizzy, Also, didn't want to collapse or curse someone out of frustration.

A failed country indeed.
You can't travel by road and feel free like it use to be when we were younger.
My dad would drive from Lagos to east and the journey would be so peaceful without fear or being kidnapped. Truly, there was a country
I traveled to my hood in Olodi Apapa recently to and was having conversation with some of my egbon adugbo who are APC card carrying members (these are men in their late forties and fifties), maka chukwu i pitied Nigeria.
Do you know that one admitted that Tinubu is a total failure but he'll still vote for him while another obviously have hatred for Igbos and everything that has to do with igbos and for that he'll never support anything Igbo. An Igbo guy in my hood opened a conversation on kidnappings in yoruba land and one of them shut him up that it's not the business of Igbos if there's kidnappingin Yoruba land, after all Yoruba didn't interfere during the days of insecurity in southeast during Buhari's administration. Funny thing is that these people live in one room apartments of the houses built by their parent in 70's and these houses are public face me i face you houses with one or two toilets and bathrooms for more than 14 rooms per house in the worst condition you'll ever think of and believe me the dog house in my family house there is by far better than the houses they live.
I made up my mind more than 2 years ago never to give any of them my hard earned money for any reason even if hunger wan kill them (they've noticed it though and think it's because I'm struggling financially but na me know sey non of dem go get urgent 5k to 100k from me again).
Funny thing is that some of these people complain about how things were good for them years ago but the still believe Tinubu is doing well. During Buhari's administration they were singing praises of Buhari only for them to say Tinubu is fixing what Buhari destroyed.
I keep asking myself, what fo this people gain in supporting failure? When obviously the failure is affecting them.
If you see any supporter of Tinubu that says Tinubu is doing well make sure you don't give them your money since Tinubu is doing well, they should be able to fend for themselves.
They are the people Cipolla classified as stupid🤦🏾‍♂️. We have lots of them in this country and it's really bothersome.

Me too. Let no bastard pay my ransom or I will kill them... All I need is ₦7m to leave this shithole and in one year I would start sending inflow to Nigeria.

They must have raping and abuse her to the bastard level (beyond any therapy can heal).

RIP.

You would see grown men, they would be flogging them and they would be crying like a school girl. If they release him, he wouldn't live up to 20 years yet wants his family to sell everything for him?

What has happened has happened, but you should have sent this girl overseas with ¼ of that ₦50m, instead of that NYSC.
