Why not? .. he's not liked in the US ... especially in New York .. his "home State". He's not a basketball fan... but decided to show up to the game in Monday because the knicks were on a thirteen game winning streak and were the talk of the town. He wanted to be in the spotlight.. and because of security concerns... public viewing area around MSG was shut down.. people couldn't carry bags etc i... blocks were shut down all because of him... then he be nodding off during the game. Obama was present ..dressed in casuals .. and sat with the crowd.. no big security entourage... when he was shown in the screen fans stood and cheered loudly. To save embarrassment... Trump was shown when the National Anthem was sung... when people show respect by being quiet... but it didn't work. He was loudly booed . Thursday is the Victory Parade... it's going to be huge. I would not at all be surprised if aTrump does something to take away attention or reduce participation... as in having heavy ICE presence or snatching people. He loves being the center of attention.. loves parades ... so why would he not be upset if he's not in a big NYC ticker tape parade?

I agree.with your view and that was my view for a.long time when I first came to the US
I was always annoyed by them using world this and that.
They believe it's worldly because the best players in the world are playing in those leagues.
But all in all, I agree with you.
It's part of the American narcissistic mentality of we are better than everyone else.
