Those of us that submitted in March 2026, that means it's till next year before we get any feedback from them, as the waiting list is already saying there is 1 year period line..

Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by halimahraji: 11:46am On Jun 05
I am also a March candidate and my waiting time just changed to 6 months - 1 year. I feel we should be able to get response before the year ends.

I was asked at the interview if I had learnt any German and I said no, until I get visa. Wasn't an issue, got the visa. It'll only be a problem if German is a requirement for jobs in your field
Chief, I saw you tried to reach me. Check my profile for how to contact me.

Good morning house, with the attached screenshot, does it mean I'm on preliminary review. If yes, how do I process Dr. Walter Insurance for the OC?

Hi guys,

Please I have both GCE and WAEC. Although, prior to this moment, I have always used only my GCE. Can I submit both for preliminary review? Or I can just choose to submit 1?

If your results are complete in the GCE, no need to upload WAEC in addition. As long as you have your secondary school testimonial, that's what matters.

I dont think the insurance is compulsory at this stage. It's under the additional docs section.

But it'll be mandatory to go with it for your interview, so you can wait and do it then so the dates on the insurance makes more sense

Think using just the WAEC would be more appropriate. The less docs you have to explain, the better.

With the GCE, he'll still have to upload the secondary school testimonial

If the GCE results are better (grade wise) it's better to use it to show you're not poor academically. Someone who did GCE probably didn't have his results complete in WAEC, shey u get?

Uploading the testimonial is really not an issue, unless it's unavailable.

I find it interesting that since the last update we had in February (I think), nobody here has come to say that they have gone for an interview or even gotten a visa decision. And all of us have benefited from the info provided by the people who came here to update the rest of us still in the process. But failing to pay it forward with updates. This is June, and no one has posted any update, and I don't want to beleive there hasn't been any new update since.

The last person here who mentioned the interview only told us because he wanted to know potential test questions, and that was it.

It doesn't even make sense, sha. The least you can do for everyone in this community is drop an update on your process so far so we learn from it.

Let us do better is all I have to say.

Please September that have gone for interview how has it been. We want to know how it went

Yes, same sentiment here too. Someone here mentioned that they know a person who applied around March and has already received a decision. I asked a specific question about the exact time the person applied or got a decision, but they could not give a clear response.

For context, I had my interview in early March, and I also met another applicant there the same day. Both of us are still waiting and have not received any update or decision.

Our portals are still showing the exact same thing: the book appointment page. There has been no visible change or progress so far.

What was your interview process like? Do they still ask test questions based on the course you studied or the intended job you want to apply for in Germany? What other general questions did they ask you that you can remember?

On my end, I applied in January, and I am estimating entering the preliminary stage around August/September.

Good morning everyone
I have been following the thread from the beginning, I will like to appreciate everyone for the impactful and useful information that have been shared so far. God bless you all.

Please I have a question
Concerning the language certificate, can IELTS be used as well or it must be a German certificate? I am asking this because someone mentioned that they are no longer accepting IELTS but a German certificate instead. So I will like to confirm this before making a decision

Thank you all for the great work so far

I don't think any language certificate is required...
