U.S B-52 Bomber Aircraft Crashes During Take Off (Photos)

A 🇺🇸 U.S Air Force B-52 Stratofortress bomber crashed shortly after takeoff at Edwards Air Force Base in California on Monday, the base said.

"Emergency crews immediately responded to the scene and the situation is ongoing," the base said in a statement.

The crash was reported at about 11:20 a.m. local time.

The base has closed the airfield and said all inbound planes are being diverted.

Sadly, in most report of this crash, there is no mention of the crew. All crew members may have been burnt to ashes.

I think the B-52 have ejector seats so the crew should be alive if they were able to eject successfully.

The 2008 crash killed all the crew.

B2 bomber is much larger than aeroplanes and lacks speed unlike fighter jets so it is not about seat ejection but ensuring zero accident.

You eject seat and you still land in the crash impact zone giving no chance for survival.

Only Russian jet to crash in the last 4 months. That is why it isn't newsworthy.

Meanwhile this week alone more than 4 US aircrafts have crashed.

3 aircrafts in the space of 2 days.

America and Israel achieved NONE of their objectives in the war with Iran, Instead they made Iran much more stronger, united their people and made them the fourth super power.... grin

Lack of maintenance!

The US needs to cultivate maintenance culture like Nigeria.

We have recorded less military or commercial crashes and they need to learn how we have been able to achieve that.
