IsraeliAIRFORCE:That means they are free to contest for LGA elections . They however failed to meet up the 25% minimum votes in any one state and FCT across the federation. That means they have been automatically relegated to Local Govt league .. They can't even field candidates for state or federal house of assembly, governorship and Presidency. They are now in Isthmian League. |

Wow 15 chairman that is commendable. But I'm thinking the rule means it should be spread across different offices as well. IsraeliAIRFORCE: |

DomPerignon:He dey sweet you now, look how you are writing jargons of English on Nigeria social media spaces and you don't live here in Nigeria with us. You are living all the way in white mans land, and doing cho cho cho in Nigeria politics and it's not that you are going to vote in our election. |

DomPerignon:The judgment is deregistration. Winning 15 LGAs in a State, and these are currently serving chairmen of Local Government Areas. INEC or Court Judgement cannot abolish a platform they came into power when their terms in office subsist. |
| Re: ZLP Deregistration: This Judgement Will Expose You – Nwanyanwu To Justice Lifu by DomPerignon: 10:52am On Jun 16 |
lightwind:Counter what I posted and stop spewing saliva everywhere. According to the new electoral act, ZLP has been relegated to Local Govt league. They can not field candidates for any position higher than local govt chairman. Tell Dan Iyanwayu to return all the money he got from selling forms to aspirants under ZLP. |

Ironfaceman:Can INEC dissolve a political platform/party of an elected political office holder who is in power when his/her term in office hasn't elapsed? |
| Re: ZLP Deregistration: This Judgement Will Expose You – Nwanyanwu To Justice Lifu by DomPerignon: 10:54am On Jun 16 |
IsraeliAIRFORCE:Those in office are not affected. But going forward, ZLP can not field candidates for any position higher than local govt chairman in the next elections because they were not able to meet the minimum threshold for other offices. |

DomPerignon:Continue living in white mans land peacefully, and stop misleading Nigerians. You guys keep supporting rubbish from there, while enjoying your lifes with your family over there using the British, American and Canadian Free WiFi supporting nonsense here through social media spaces. Do you understand what we the Nigeria people are going through here at the moment ? That's how when you go to X app, you will see hundreds of them living in White man's land and supporting apc government on social medias and misleading Nigerians thinking all is going smoothly here. DomPerignon:Get lost. What a childish inference. Where did you read that a political party can only exist at the local level? Which electoral law or constitution was it written. A deregistered party no longer exist as a party in the INEC registry, be it at the local or national level. |

IsraeliAIRFORCE:Ignorance is no excuse. The ammended Electoral act is there for reference and this particular provision that seeks to relegate non performing parties is to reduce the number of useless parties in our political sphere who only exist for party hoppers like Giringori Would you have cared about ZLP or NDC if Obi was a stable politician within a solid political party? |
| Re: ZLP Deregistration: This Judgement Will Expose You – Nwanyanwu To Justice Lifu by Ofunaofu(op): 11:05am On Jun 16 |
sreamsense:Your response actually proves my point. You seem more interested in defending personalities than defending institutions. judicial reform is not about removing judges because they ruled for or against a particular politician. It is about ensuring accountability, independence, and public confidence in the courts. Any judge found to have compromised the integrity of the judiciary should face scrutiny regardless of whose side they are perceived to be on. Now, your fixation on Nnamdi Kanu says more about your bias than it does about judicial reform. It comes across as ethnic bile and bigotry when you repeatedly single him out, yet remain silent about the thousands of Boko Haram terrorists, bandits, and ISWAP fighters that the current administration, are rehabilitating and reintegrating into society. Why is your outrage reserved for one individual while you ignore armed groups responsible for mass killings, kidnappings, maiming of school children and teachers across the country? Demanding that I produce a messiah or say what they have achieved before I can criticize a government is a strange standard. Nigerians are not obligated to endorse any particular politician before pointing out the current failures in governance, the economy, security, or the judiciary. Finally, democracy is not a loyalty test. The question is not whether someone is Obi, Atiku, Tinubu, or anyone else. The question is whether our institutions are working for Nigerians. If citizens believe they are not, they have every right to demand change at the ballot box. Supporting a government should never mean defending every weakness in the system. It should mean demanding better from those in power. |

AMINDA:For me, the us the best thing to do ensure politics and political class always do the right things. I love this government for bold moves that will make politicians to respect the electorate once they know that the constitution is very rich and can be used against them anytime. All these moves are in the constitution, the fact that no one as make use of them before now doesn't mean it's not in the constitution. Party should always remember why they were registered and make moves to win elections not only allowing only 2 major parties win while the rest kept quiet. |

Your argument is not consistent, you cannot deregister a party and ar the same time say the party has been relegated to local government league. Don't you see the inconsistency in your comments? What does deregistration mean? What does your relegation to local government league mean? What does the constitution electoral act say? Your opinion here is an attempt to penetrate a virgin with a flaccid dickson, sorry ![]() DomPerignon: |

Ofunaofu:The 2027 election has longed be decided, the smart politician are looking into the next election, the dumb ones are running around nagging and dragging everything with them as they sink and blaming others. I won't vote for Tinubu, but Nigerians are fall worse than the leaders that rule them. Come 2027 the corrupt citizens will put in place a corrupt person to rule. Nigeria has been a sinking ship since 1960. Tinubu is just the captain at this particular time as the ship sinks, the person after him will perform badly. And why is no one calling out their tribesmen in state government office and local government? There is no sector that has ever worked in Nigeria but some how the people only drag the sit of the president. No local government chairman is working or has worked, the senators, the house of reps, the labour unions, the workers union, the arm forces, the regulators, the religious ministries and many more have all been corrupt forever. Is it Tinubu that started all these? The high rate of immorality that parents allow their children to engage in the name of open eye and times have changed let them have their fun, is that the job of the government? Nigerians can come together to watch a show called big brother that dulls their senses, but can't come together to encourage the brilliant minds. Most of our rich people and entertainers are into shady and criminal businesses, we the citizens know but will sing praises for them. The problem with Nigeria isn't Tinubu, it's everyone wants to fight corruption but that fight against corruption should start with another person and not me or my loved ones. When that good leader comes, the same citizens will say he is a dictator when he starts arresting their loved ones for the crimes they have been committing. Bad society will not give birth to a good leader. You drink only water daily and expect more than liquid waste to be coming out? |

You have not answered my questions raised, you are still writing off-point of usual gibberish that doesn't sell in reality. Stick to the point and thread and respond to my questions raised. |
