lawani:You are trying so hard to win an argument, but it's okay. The court saw the Unity of AAC and agreed they shouldn't be deregistered. |

izzou:If you are totally right about the reason the ADC was deregistered then the AAC too will be deregistered by any court in Nigeria if there is a petition to that effect before it. It just shows that the constitution you are under that you submit to is nothing but a rude joke |

One thing I love about God when he wants to deal Is r a el enemies he always harden their heart giving them no chance of repenting,in other words they damned for eternity. What will happen to iran will shock the world, they think they cornered Is ra el. Instead they have put them in a make it or break it position,is ra el will not use their live to play politics, middle east will burn first before that happens. |

But Kenneth Okonkwo is funny sha I have this feeling that he considered himself worthy of being chosen as VP, and was disappointed. Because this cry of SE Marginalization doesn't make sense. If you wanted someone from the SE to be a contestant, another party offers that. If you truly supported ADC, you will know that a SS person was Atiku's only bet. The worst part be say the party dey struggle for Deregisteration list, Baba dey cry of another thing |

https://www.nairaland.com/8691552/outrage-jos-court-declares-hausa-fulani The judgment, delivered on June 9, 2026, by Justice C. Donglong, held that Fatima Baba Akawu, a Hausa woman born in Jos North cannot be denied a Certificate of Indigene. This judgement is confusing. Does this mean Hausa settlers in Agege and Okokomaiko who have resided in those areas in Lagos long enough are entitled to Indigene certificate from Agege and Ojo LGA respectively? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 1:22pm On Jun 16 |
BlueRayDick:I was just coming to post this and this is a dangerous judgment cos that is what it means legally but in reality we know its only certain places that are targets, I dont know hw many Jos people are going to Kano to claim indigene. This judgment set in motion a bad precedent that can lead to crisis BTW on that thread I saw this post and made me remember A0001 https://www.nairaland.com/8691552/outrage-jos-court-declares-hausa-fulani#139734651 |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 1:42pm On Jun 16 |
The suit was instituted by Fatima Baba Akawu and her father, Baba Alhaji Akawu, against Jos North Local Government Area after the council allegedly refused to issue her an indigene certificate.I am very sure the father's state would have given his daughter an indigene certificate, but because another agenda dey in motion, he wanted that of Plateau. With time, wetin dem plan for night go show for day |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 1:50pm On Jun 16 |
raumdeuter:Exactly! The implications of the judgement will be far reaching ; it's a very dangerous precedent the judge will be setting and it should not be allowed to stand at all. |

BlueRayDick:All those agenda to eradicate state of origin and indigeneship always come with agenda. And shouldn't be practiced in a multi ethnic society like Nigeria where suspicion of others have been for centuries. The same people where you cannot drink beer in his own state and will say respect my state, has relocated to another mans not respecting his own land but want to claim it as well |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 2:32pm On Jun 16 |
izzou:Some states in the North need to be fenced out. Katsina Zamfara IMO are almost beyond redemption. I say this, very soon, sooner than we think Bandits will float a political party and win in those states With the state of those state now, If Bandits say You people must vote party ADP cos that is the party that protect our interest as bandits and will make us stop terrorism, Dont you think that party will win? Na so Hamas and Hezbollah take become what they are today and are in power. and the longer these bandots stay without a solution, the more cnverts and power they get |

A001 We miss you

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 2:54pm On Jun 16 |
raumdeuter:The way the judge applied the constitution made it seem like there might be an agenda behind the judgement. We all know every Nigerian is entitled to live in any part of the country they desire and they have a legal right to stay for as long as possible. Yet that doesn't automatically turn them to indigene . The judge is making it seem like the plaintiff was denied right to be a resident because of ethnicity (which is not the case). It just looked like the judge deliberately twist the whole plot to arrive at a an already pre-determined conclusion that is logically incorrect. I hope the appeal court will overturn the high court's judgement because very soon we will see people taking advantage of the bad precedent to place some real indigenes at disadvantageous position. For example, imagine oil companies who give scholarship and job slot to indigenes of host communities. It means me as Yoruba guy who is resident in such host community can claim to be indigene thereby robbing the real indigenes of job slot that should've originally gone to them. Will members of such host community fold their arms and watch me take their potential job slot? The whole thing is a recipe for chaos waiting to happen except the NJC step in and right the wrong of this judgement. |

izzou:Don't mind them. They indulged the terrorists for long till they grow beyond their control, now they are making brainless decisions that can't yield any positive result. When they ought to have nipped the whole banditry thing in the bud, they were busy going to meetings with them, handing them money as monetary compensation and making excuse for the terrorists by claiming they are some sort of freedom fighters/marginalized members of the society. The past immediate governor of Katsina state was actively negotiating with bandits. Even when they kidnapped students from Katsina schools under Buhari's government, all they did was pay them ransom for release of the students which the bandits most likely used to buy more weapons. Anyone who saw how Buhari go really hard on ESN and IPOB in the east would think he will use such powers to crush the terrorists in his own backyard which they were busy caressing and playing on semantics by calling them bandits. Today we see Katsina government retrieving the dead body of an Army general from those terrorists without showing us those terrorists have been sent to hell. |
