No matter when.
Once a superior Court gives an order, it must be obeyed.
Even if it is less than 12 hours apart.
Kindly back it up with the law that requires a lower court to freeze judgement on the day judgement will be delivered?

Very untrue. The hieripf the courts remain unchallenged.
Lifu is a judicial rascal. The Appeal Court said so.
Again, he didn't slate June 15. He adjourned twice to June 15, even if he was to deliver the next day, he must obey superior Courts.

You didn't do your research well.
Look down, you will see those parties you mentioned joined to the suit.
Leave am. He knows more than the court. He is the Attorney General of the Federation naa.. grin

So this judges issue is every where, even America. All these systems (judiciary & democracy) aren't working as expected someone forgot to factor in all these flaws.

Nairaland should mandate a cognitive test before users are allowed to register.

What do you have to say about Justice Lifu's conduct?

Ofunaofu:
I will continue to reiterate that one of the reasons I want a new government to take over in 2027 is the hope that it will sanitize the judiciary. Rogue judges like Justice Lifu of FHC would be summarily retired and disgraced out of the judicial system.

The level of impunity and judicial rascality witnessed under the Tinubu regime is unprecedented and would be difficult to find a parallel for anywhere in the world.
You are right.

What do we expect, when a member of the Executive Arm can steal Land from its owners, and award it to the same Judges these Owners are supposed to go before, and seek redress, and the Judges DID NOT REJECT THE LANDS! huh huh

Is Nigeria gone, or should we 'Go To Court'?

I just dey laugh una, una no no say it will be more easier for president tinubu to win, when there are more political party.
If Atiku is out of the picture, it will be hard to rig, but since he's back. Three of dem go share the vote and one person will eventually come out as winner nd that person will behuh??

He belongs to the whatsapp group of Justice Ikpeme and Lifu. Group of judicial rascals.

This is nice.
This is interesting.
Let's see how it goes.
The goal is not to ban them per se, it's to scramble the party using legal means so it cannot be seen or present itself as acredible contender. Same way they did with PDP and LP.

The case will be taken back to the trial court but assigned to another Judge.
Not true. The case has been concluded and judgment given

And you dont think some of Atiku's Voters/Supporters will eventually Vote for Tinubu, instead of Peter Obi, if Atiku was not on the Ballot?
It works both ways.

No, it is not going back.
Lifu may even face disciplinary procedure, for abusing the Court process and bringing it to disrepute
Once a Higher Court rules on a Case, it should not go back to the lower Court.
In the current case, the ruling is "a Stay", so it is not a final ruling.
But the formerlly existing ruling of the Appellate Court, has made any ruling after it by Judge Lifu lower Court, Null and Void.

Judge Lifu just wasted Tax Payers Money on Judicial Rascality, as my Lord has said. grin

Justice Lifu acted lawfully and justiciably. He had already announced June 15 as the date of judgement before the Appeal Court gave her own order of stay of proceeding days after. And there's no law stopping any court from delivering its judgement under any circumstances.
Besides, if Accord party obtained an order from the Appeal Court, how is that applicable to ADC, AA, ZLP and APP who were not joined in the suit?. Only Accord party can hold on to the order of the Appeal Court, others have to be deregistered.

-Kiss the truth!
Go and deregister them quickly. You guys hypocrisy is second to none. When Turaki's PDP disobeyed the same court and went ahead to hold its convention, you guys were everywhere shouting contempt of court. But now, your song has changed. This country can't grow with your likes supporting backwardness in the name of politics.

He shouldn't have read it.
Judgement was for June 5. He didn't show up, then read it on June 15 despite objections from the defendants.

We always know what he was but he has put himself in the open.

Bolded. Nigerians don't seem to think properly, else how can a competitor in a game appoint the referee, and Nigerians approve?
An incumbent president going for reelection should not have any business with appointing INEC boss.

Let us assume the bolded is true.
In such case, the lower Judge would simply tell the Parties that a Higher Court, has taken over the Case and let the Parties report to the Higher Court.

That aside, the Higher Court's STAY, means STAY, a lower Court cannot over-rule it by deliberating on the same matter, for whatever reason
