I think while the rehabilitation program is unsettling many don't understand the legal process that lead to it and how it differs from this case.

The FG in my opinion did something wrong when it offered an amnesty program which allowed some ex BH members an avenue to escape the gallows, Nigeria is not the first to use this program and it had done same in Niger delta something I was also against fundamentally because it's a sign of technical surrender.

The Nigerian state should enforce a policy of non negotiation with militants and bandits of all sort across the nation and show it's absolute capacity to visit maximum violence on militancy and armed criminality of all sorts.

The idea of politically orchestrated soft landing is offensive to the victims of banditry, criminality and terrorism

They both deserve the same judgement, even the courier deserve it more than the actual terrorists because without arms and ammunition in the hands of these criminals they are powerless.

Death sentence should be handed down to these supplying the criminals food, drugs, ammunition and logistics.

Any suspicious sponsor investigated and established and found guilty should receive the same punishment.

Have you Just chosen Not to understand, who exactly are being rehabilitated or you just enjoy believing what you want to believe?
No confirm terrorist have been Pardoned, heavy Judgements have been given to all found guilty.
Those rehabilitated are Prisoners of War ( you might need go read about that and how Geneva convention protects them) and understand how they are being treated after been captured.
