What Would You Do? by Gbadugbakun(op): 9:28pm On Jun 17
You are in a bus travelling and suddenly a traditional doctor stops the bus, says he's seeing an accident ahead and wants to drop off with his bags. A pastor calls from the back seat saying, 'Nothing will happen, let's go.' As a passenger, what will you do?

Re: What Would You Do? by Bahamas95(m): 9:37pm On Jun 17
I will definitely do as the spirit leads, it has never failed me before.

At times I abort some missions when I get signs, I don't need any pastor or babalawo to tell me anything.

Come down. I have nothing to lose. I have learnt over time to trust my instincts.

***Getting quite a few comments on my post.

Let me paint another similar scenario.

Imagine you are at a function, a burial, and your food has just been served. You haven't eaten anything for hours and are quite famished. Just as you are about to take the first bite, a traditionalist suddenly shouts that this food has been poisoned with a tasteless substance. Right there and then, a bishop declares that the food is safe, urging everyone to ignore the warning and eat to their fill.

What would you do? What is the safest option here, once bias has been eliminated from the picture?

I will alight from the bus right away.

I've been misled by one Nigerian pastor before. Not again.

That traditional man looks serious about what he said oo grin
Re: What Would You Do? by CaseSensitive(m):
I'd trust my Holy Spirit and would most likely get off the bus with the "traditional doctor". A pastor herds a flock of sheep, A real ifa oracle sees with the third eye and guide you to navigate life accordingly. This is who we were before the colonisers brought their religion and told our ancestors that our spirituality is evil.

Ifa is not evil. Esu is not satan.

I'll follow the native doctor while praying to Jesus
Re: What Would You Do? by FalseProphet1(m): 10:09pm On Jun 17
As a prophet, I will not listen to the native doctor, I will prophesy life to the bus, and collect a tangible seed from everyone once we arrive to our destination safely.

This I have seen

I would listen to the traditional man, most men of God don't know what they are doing, particularly the ones in Nigeria.

Christianity as a religion is a multi billion dollar industry here in Nigeria, fake pastors cashing out on gullible Nigerians.

GOD answers genuine prayers of inquiry.

Re: What Would You Do? by Melagros(m): 10:11pm On Jun 17
COMRADES, to me I don't trust either of them. I can only listen to the voice or instructions of an expert/ mechanic because the truck that I am in is physical, and not spiritual
Re: What Would You Do? by vr0xen: 10:12pm On Jun 17

Re: What Would You Do? by emperor4love(m): 10:12pm On Jun 17
Follow your instinct ,what you believe is what works for you,the bus might not even experience any accident because of your believe, you intuition is an energy in the world of matters
Re: What Would You Do? by Mattswaggz: 10:13pm On Jun 17
I'll do what I have in mind and I don't think it will be influenced by the opinion of either of them but if I am to decide based on their opinion, I'd rather follow the native doctor....they're more trustworthy and genuine than most pastors.
Re: What Would You Do? by zinaunreal(m): 10:13pm On Jun 17

So those people attacked by bandits in their various worship centers aren't children of god right?.
Re: What Would You Do? by Astonmartin(m): 10:15pm On Jun 17
I don't and will never trust any Nigerian pastor or priest. I will jejely alight from the bus cos Voom! is better than statement
Re: What Would You Do? by HacheNoire: 10:16pm On Jun 17
What guarantees that the next bus you will board won’t have accident?

You are destined to die once!

Reread the post and nowhere did it say that the bus was in the middle of nowhere.

Drop with immediate effect ..... For Nigeria Devil work pass God sef
Re: What Would You Do? by geoworldedu: 10:22pm On Jun 17
I will actually follow my mind. If there was no pastor in the bus to tell me to continue the journey, I would have disregarded the traditionalist and continue my journey. But because pastors are synonymous to lying, I will disregard the pastor and come down from the bus.

Pastors can lie for Africa.
