[quote author=OkpaNsukkaisBae post=139749578]Netanyahu on 15/06/2026 after regime special military operation failed woefully. , I've been feeding off these guys cries.. USA just disgraced itself in Iran Imagine getting $300b and sanctions relief , controlling Hormuz just for giving up enriched uranium (they'd still have the right to enrich ) Art of a deal by trump ![]() |

Realmrsean:Trump's hands are tied. Americans are not Russians or Iranians, if price of things increase slightly there will be serious protests and complaints, Trump cares about headlines, bad headlines might fvck his party up in polls. The US could probably finish off Iran without using nukes if they can continue the fight for another one or two months, but the price of fuel/gas and foodstuffs will be over the roof and the headlines will be terrible for his party, a concern that dictators in Russia, Iran, China, and NK don't have to bother themselves with. |

TemporaryHansel:E no get any other weaponry, missiles, drones, fighter jets, helicopters etc wey America never use against Iran. Even the tomahawk missiles wey America no gree give Ukraine, dem use strike Iran. The only thing wey remain now na for dem 2 use na nuclear weapon. |

Y'all thought Trump was a puppet of Israel and Netanyahu. Now I actually think he's been working for Iran all this time ![]() That is the only logical explanation. Cos Iran wasn't winning on the battlefield. There was no need to give all they want and more. If you are not basically working for them, cos even in their wildest imagination they can't possibly have negotiated this for themselves Even countries that get invaded and occupied do not agree to concessions like this so this is definitely not ordinary eye Maybe the plan all along was to remove the old Ayatollah and put in a more scattered leadership. I mean where is the new guy. We've never seen him. Politics has taught me the more you look the less you see |

A40:Like bro this is literally the best time to finish off Iran, they've never been this weak and exposed. Trump has made a very terrible decision because of fear of bad headlines and protests. The useless Americans that have gotten used to soft life will regret this their softness when one of these dictators use their softness against their government in a major war. I understand Netanyahu's frustration fr. Only option now is for Israel to crush Iran without the US, I believe they can do it. They should ignore whatever Trump says because they might not have this chance again after a while. |

TemporaryHansel:The urgency to end a war nobody asked him to start had my eyebrows raised. Without any major casualties how are you more eager to end the war than Iran and Israel. Unless your aim was never to finish them off to begin with and you have some kind of arrangement with them. Soon as it came clear he was not interested in regime change I don wash my hand comot. George W Bush was at least willing and principled enough to do that, But it seems something even more sinister is at play Even Ukraine that has been battered since 2022 are still fighting and have not ceded an inch so for you to not just be overly eager to end the war but give Iran even more than they could have bargained for when the war began makes me assume you have been compromised. This is not incompetence. This almost feels like it's by design. Even his utterances have been bizarre. This deal is not just unfavorable to Israel but America as well There would have been no need to go to war with Iran if they brought this proposal to the previous guy. He would have accepted in a heartbeat If you're Netanyahu you now know that Trump simply can't be trusted. Maybe this is the end of their alliance. Or the alliance of America and Israel as a whole. We shall see in the next few weeks and months |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by TemporaryHansel(m): 10:40pm On Jun 17 |
Peter Obi said he'll continue negotiating with bandits/terrorists if he gets into power. He also said he'll continue "rehabilitating" them. I don't understand why the man would plan to do this or even release such statement at all, are there really forces behind the scenes controlling everything including the president and presidential aspirants? Because that's the only way to make sense of some things happening in Nigeria. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Realmrsean: 10:44pm On Jun 17 |
A40:the mistake you people make is equating bombing to winning. Iran has proven to be anti assassination proof Meaning killing their leaders doesn't change anything in the battlefield. Iran controlled the Hormuz from the first day of the war up until right now even when this Mou is been signed, they'll still control it together with Oman Irans missiles was untouched as they were buried deep under the mountain 🏔️ together with their nuclear uranium. USA won't ever dare put boots in the ground as that'd be more catastrophic for them. Look up what happened in ishafan when they attempted. Iran still had the red sea card together with undersea cables on Hormuz. Iran doesn't care about economic choking, they don't care of naval blockade or sanctions, they don't care if their currency goes to zero. These are Shia Muslims not some cartels in Venezuela. Trump played all his cards and he didn't get results, he had to cut his losses and move on As simple as that |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Realmrsean: 10:46pm On Jun 17 |
TemporaryHansel:Israel can not survive a week against a war with Iran without America alliance They are subsidiesed by American military defense system. So remove Israel fighting Iran without America from the equation |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Realmrsean: 10:51pm On Jun 17 |
A40:trump simply followed the advice of warmongers like Lindsey Graham and defense contract lobbyists politicians including netenyahu. Trump himself thought eliminating khamenei and arming the Kurds will cause uprising in Iran and orchestrate a regime change. He miscalculated on that as the event backfired when Ali khamenei was replaced with his son and more hardliner mojtaba khamenei. Iran rained missiles on gulf nations who houses USA interests. This in turn made them out pressure on trump to end the war. He underrated Iran, he played his cards and failed, he cut his losses and moved on.. |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Ibime(m): 11:40pm On Jun 17 |
A40:Trump is a reality TV President, not a principled guy, which is what I said when he bombed ISIS in Nigeria. He is only interested in the cheap headlines and will leave us to deal with the fallout when ISIS now train their focus on Nigeria. Well I comment my reserve until we see the actual MOU on the 19th cos what's floating around may be incorrect. I was at Investment panel meeting with the fund managers who manage our company investments 2 weeks ago and the two companies both independently pointed out that anytime Treasury Yields start to approach 4.5%, Trump will immediately talk up a deal out of nowhere to calm the Yield down. That's his focus, not the battlefield. |

Ramudeuter whatever happened to our guy Trump? That guy has completely lost his marbles it's crazy. He's actually praising fvcking Hamas right now and done a complete 360 on Iran. If the end product of this whole war is this capitulation, then there was no need to tear up Obama's deal cos this one looks worse considering all it took. I can't recognise the guy no more. ![]()

Realmrsean:You don't understand. Iran held no aces. There's no reason for Trump to end this war this abruptly and agree to all these terms and insert more that Iran would never have expected if he has not been compromised I legit think Trump has been compromised. Everything you are mentioning here is not grounds to end the war. What cards did he play? He did not see anything through to logical conclusion. Everything was applied halfway. Half measures and half stepping I now lowkey think the whole war was probably a fake to distract us to begin with. This is not capitulation this is malpractice. Some day we might find out what really happened |

Ibime:He has his good sides but the lack of principles makes him a very unreliable ally to have It's evident he's always more concerned about image and optics than anything else. I don't even believe he likes or hates either side, whether Hezbollah, Iran, MAGA, Leftists, Putin, Isreal, China, Jewish, Muslim This man legit no send anybody. Whatever he feels he does it's really that simple A friend of mine says he doesn't even hate Trump like other leftists because for him to hate him he has to take him serious first. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by A40(m): 12:06am On Jun 18 |
Realmrsean:Where is the said Mojtaba? Lol your conclusion is too simplistic Merely looking at Ukraine and Russia anybody with sense will know that you're going to need more than weeks to topple a regime that has been in charge for almost 5 decades. I'm saying this was probably not a real war and the plan was always to purge certain characters. The same Netanyahu has Trump not gone rogue on him? Did Trump arm the Kurds? No. He didn't do the things it typically takes to topple a government. Even the gulf nations cannot possibly be impressed with this agreement. All these bombings they chested only to end up with a stronger Iran? That makes no sense |

A40:A very unreliable ally with the attention span of a firefly I was just laughing when his stans were saying he would show Europe pepper over not intervening in Hormuz. It shows people don't understand how International relations work. Countries back their alliances over multi decade obligations, not abandon them because it was a previous administration that struck those partnerships. No country will partner with you if so. Intelligence services and sharing of military bases and production are intertwined and rely on each other over decades for that reason. It's at the implementation phase of such foolish talk that his intelligence services and generals will remind him that they rely on Europe for dozens of military bases, logistics, fuelling, intelligence sharing and technology inputs. It's like when he was scolding Zelensky in the White House and Zelensky was telling him that America has commitments to Ukraine from 1992 to 2024, the otu started shouting that the commitments are not with his Government, and his fanboys thought that kind of talk from a President is normal. Zelensky looked so frustrated and was trying to explain in toddler language to him the basic principle of Govt continuity of obligations. I was just laughing. In International relations, Policies and alliances are a continuum, from Eisenhower to Gerald Ford to Reagan to Bush to Obama, you honour the alliances and agreements of your predecessors over multiple decades. As things stand, the Gulf countries will be looking at America with side-eye, countries notice policy flipflops and adjust accordingly. |

If you are intelligent and watch Peter ObI’s latest interview with Rufai, you will Wonder how he convinced numerous educated Nigerians to gullibly support him. Man is empty such that I wondered how he became a Governor in Nigeria and did 8 years. He should not grant any interview if he doesn’t want to expose himself the more. |

The war is dragging his economy down, even if its the right thing to do and take out Iran but the polarization of the US wont allow him to go far enough. If Trump doubles down on the war he will lose the next election massively and when he loses he wont even be able to help Israel anymore Whats the point of doubling down and losing the election which makes all his gains to be reversed. If you are a voter and do not like his speech today, the truth is that its the best you can get. The other side are virulent anti Israel and pro Hamas And what he said was "Look at the Hamas they have been silent lately, we are trying to get them unarmed, these are guys born with a machine gun in their hand and they have been behaving well recently considering this is not the lifestyle they were brought to live" The Obama deal is much worse as it did not address the use of proxies to destabilize the region. And only pushed down when they can resume enriching the uranium |

A40:Trump is eager to end the war because there is an election in the US in 4 months time and many of the voting population left and right are complaining about cost of goods and general support of the war. It favors Israel for the war to continue but it doesnt favor Trump. He is losing political capital. If he loses the house and senate in midterms he can be impeached by the left. So will Netanyahu rather have Trump impeached at this point? There is no way you can achieve regime change without either Iranians rising to do it or American boots on ground. American boots on ground means there will be American casualties and any American casualty is a death knell for Trumps admin Trump wants to end the war anyway he can before it drags his admin down. The Iranians know he doesnt want to push the war further close to the midterm and are milking that If you are Netanyahu you will be reasonable and know Trump is the best American ally you have, the president that has stood by you closest. When you consider the options to Trump within and outside America you know Trump is your best bet and you better stick to him |

A40:Trump is a realist and not an ideologue He can change his position if things are not going as he planned If he continues the war and his party trashed at the election, all the good things he has done reversed and he gets impeached What good will that do to him or to Israel? The option to Trump in US (democrats) outside US (EU China etc) are not shy to arm the enemies of Israel Trump doesn't hate anyone on an ideological level as long as you live and let others live. Even if you are a terrible person and can be convinced to change your mind he will deal with you. As long as you dont pose an immediate danger to his country He views everything as a business deal. No hard feelings about anything |
