But they sacrifice blood to ifa and esu
Ifa is a spiritual and philosophical system, you don't sacrifice to Ifa. Do you offer sacrifices to Esu? Absolutely. So, since we're on whataboutism - are there no rituals and sacrifices in the bible involving blood? (Assuming you're christian) You may want to read Leviticus, Exodus, and Deuteronomy especially. Even christians believe Jesus was a human sacrifice to God. (There's nothing like human sacrifice in Ifa system by the way).

Even in Judaism which is the religion that Jesus practised, they offer blood sacrifices to God for a whole lot of things - sin offering, burnt offering, peace offering, guilt offering and other rituals.

Know the religion you practice, read your bible too in depth. Not just the chapters that preaches prosperity, "heaven", and placing curses on "village people".

Hmmm, truly speaking, God still minister to His own today. He never leaves His own without telling them things ahead. From my own experience,l was to travel from lagos to kano during my leave as a soldier many years ago.As an aircraft engineer, a soldier personnel of the Air Force,we can always travel with our c130 any where as long as you're going towards the route.l have been in lagos for two weeks ,about to return to my station Kano.Three days before l will return,l dreamt that l was in the aircraft and it crashed, and all dead.l quickly went for three days fasting. On the third day,l went to Airforce base ikeja to check lf l can get flight to kano.Lo and behold, one was going toAbuja en route jos, that morning,l decided to check in for free, with the hope that l can continue my journey to kano by bus from jos. Alas, efforts were made by this aircraft to take off two times on different aircrafts it failed until another one was taken eventually, we were on the Air to jos.l was very happy. On our arrival in jos,the aircraft wouldn't land due to poor weather. For more than fifteen minutes, no way.Every body started crying both young and old.l asked myself if God has not told me about this before hand?l started praying again, pleading for mercy of God,intreating God, as another stubborn jonah, and God heard my weeping the aircraft landed safely after almost 30 minutes on air struggling. The airport was filled with people coming to congratulate us.Fellow nairalanders, your instincts can fail you, babalawos has no say in this matter, JESUS na baba.He can revert and change circumstances for His children,l will forever have my allegiance with Him.Trust no juju or something else. Supposing you came down from the bus to join another one on the road, and you are kidnapped nko? May He reigns forever in my life.Find out about Christ today!

You are in a bus travelling and suddenly a traditional doctor stops the bus, says he's seeing an accident ahead and wants to drop off with his bags. A pastor calls from the back seat saying, 'Nothing will happen, let's go.' As a passenger, what will you do?
i will come down too because i know he is pure than the scammers called pastors

Sounds like crime...
I'm not a criminal. "Mission" generally means a task, assignment, goal or objective that someone is trying to accomplish. It can be used in many contexts.

Which spirit? No be BABALAWO con tell u say accident go happen
He must not tell me first.

If I don't get any weird sign before he speaks, I will continue with the journey.

I don't choose who to listen to; even a child can pass a message to me and if it aligns with my spirit, I will obey.

I don't focus on the messenger when it comes to sensitive issues; my focus is on the message itself.

I will definitely do as the spirit leads, it has never failed me before.

At times I abort some missions when I get signs, I don't need any pastor or babalawo to tell me anything.
Before the drama, your spirit didn't tell you anything or give you any signs..
That means, you are definitely staying back.!!

Come down. I have nothing to lose. I have learnt over time to trust my instincts.
Before the drama, your instincts didn't tell you anything.
Immediately after the drama, you now remembered you have nothing to loose if you got down, but you have your life put at a hypothetical risk -- if you stayed back..

FEAR became your instinct.!!

I will not come down..
But you see that pastor -- he must start to pray ooo, and he must continue to pray without stopping until we reach our destination -- or meet that accident after-all.
Re: What Would You Do? by huptin(m): 4:06am On Jun 18
I will alight, not because i believe more in tbe native doctor but because i believe more in actions than words.

For the babalawo to alight,, it means he is sure of his convictions.
Re: What Would You Do? by ARISHEM: 4:24am On Jun 18
What if the bus is an old rickety type making noise
Re: What Would You Do? by Franking: 4:48am On Jun 18
I'm getting down sharperly. Who be pastor?

Truth is even if their roles were reversed I'll still get down with whoever gets down, pastor or native doctor. I don't trust any of them.

I'll do whatever my instincts tells me, after all I can never trust a herbalist neither will i trust a pastor.

If my intuition tells me to alight from the bus or remain in the bus, I'd do it.

I don't let people influence my decisions especially when i have the ability to calculate the odds and determine the outcome.

Make i come let business men abi scammers put panic for my body, as how nah?

It is simply responding to your fears

Your instinct comes from within

Maybe. I won't argue with that logic.

I like to think of it this way. Imagine you are at a function and your food served. Just as you are about to eat it, a traditionalist shouts that this food has been poisoned with a tasteless substance and then right there and then, a bishop declares that the food is safe and we all should ignore him and eat our food. What will you do?

You can't prove that the food is poisoned just like one can't prove that there will be no accident in this case scenario. So what will you do? Keep eating?

I cn neva trust d pastor cuz dey ar l.i.ai.r.s
Re: What Would You Do? by crusufixo(m): 6:27am On Jun 18
As for me, I would get down from the vehicle. This is because, the traditionalist has created an unsettling situation by making that statement. The driver himself would now be afraid and would loose his driving focus. Hence, if there was initially a 0% chance of an accident occurring before, there would now be a 5% chance of the accident now occurring due to fear. Fear is a very powerful situation in which not everyone can handle and trust Nigerians. We are very bad at handling fear.me I would jejely come down. I no fit shout

FalseProphet1:
As a prophet, I will not listen to the native doctor, I will prophesy life to the bus, and collect a tangible seed from everyone once we arrive to our destination safely.

This I have seen
Are you aware that God can use even a sinner like that babalawo to save his children?

A harlot was used in the Bible to save the children of God.
As a prophet that you are, if you can't see, scan the journey ahead to counter the native doctor's vision about imminent danger of accident, why forge ahead?

How can you prophesy life to the bus when you can't see shy.t? our people perish for lack of wisdom.

God can use anything to save his people, even a stone or the worse sinner!

***Getting quite a few comments on my post.

Let me paint another similar scenario. Imagine you are at a function, a burial, and your food has just been served. You haven't eaten for hours and are quite famished. Just as you are about to take the first bite, a traditionalist suddenly shouts that this food has been poisoned with a tasteless substance. Right then and there, a bishop declares that the food is safe and that everyone should ignore the traditionalist and eat to their fill. What would you?

Change the pastor to the Pope, I go still follow the native doctor because the Pope ( Christianity and Islam ) are political construct that has very little to do with religion or spirituality

Afolue:

True. Same reason why I will not be compelled to continue on that journey just because the pastor said so. Best course of action is to listen to one's self and choose the best course of action for you at that very moment.
