Governor Peter Obi's Tough Response To Kidnapping In Anambra (Throwback Video) by givedemwotowoto(op): 2:39pm On Jun 17
As governor of Anambra, Peter Obi was tough on kidnapping and criminal activity, often shutting down or demolishing properties used by kidnappers and criminals as hideouts for their criminal activities.

Obi on kidnapping

Re: Governor Peter Obi's Tough Response To Kidnapping In Anambra (Throwback Video) by givedemwotowoto(op):
Peter Obi's only "crime" was that he wasn't loud about his achievements all over the media when he was governor, choosing to prioritize working for the people rather than looting funds and hiring propagandists to hype phantom achievements like today's leaders are doing.

Nigerians will not be deceived by propagandists who claim to love Nigeria, but actively destroying it with corruption, incompetence, cluelessness, and insecurity.

See what Dora Akunyili of the blessed memory, Mrs Integrity personified said about Mr Peter Obi as a Governor.

Peter is a gift to Nigeria and we must not miss him becoming the president come next year

A good product doesn't need propaganda to sell.

Peter Obi made one statement few days ago that no politician in Nigeria will ever make he said

" If you know I've done anything wrong or criminal come out and expose me, if you know I didn't attend the primary school I claim I attended come out and expose me, if you know I've embezzled any money come out and expose me".

This man is nobody's mate. No wonder they spend more time talking about him instead of their achievements as a government. Clowns

All the ruse today is just politics. Peter Obi faced insecurity well back then.

Tough response that resulted in criminality multiple. So Obi sealing off a building is hailed as tough response to kidnapping. What should we say about Oyo State Government that pulls down the houses?
Is he able to seal off all the huge forests in Nigeria and our borders?
Is it not under the same Obi administration that the current governor Soludo's father was kidnapped and a former deputy governor was kidnapped?
Chris Ngige was famously abducted in July 2003 while serving as governor of Anambra State. Actor Pete Edochie was kidnapped in Anambra during Obi's tenure but he'll paint him as an angel today. Kidnapping didn't start from Obi's, it worsened. Go and verify.

That is not being tough on crime. Every governor demolishes hideouts and homes of kidnappers. It is not unique to Peter Obi. If he was tough on crime, he should have sacked and prosecuted his media aide who was caught by Lagos state police command for transporting 250 million naira cash in briefcases.

Peter Obi is a slowpoke.

You all should stop this rubbish about Peter Obi. Allow him to contest in peace. We need a real solution in this country and not ethic bigotry.

Peter Obi did it in Anambra State, when he was governor, then, Anambra was the most dangerous state in Nigeria.

What is the big deal here? cheesy cheesy

Any secondary school class captain can suggest to seal up a building being used for nefarious activities.

There is nothing cerebral or outstanding in this post.

Re: Governor Peter Obi's Tough Response To Kidnapping In Anambra (Throwback Video) by Demonic01(m): 9:55am On Jun 18
He did what a sane governor would do, so why is he celebrated for taking drastic actions he was supposed to do?

Edo state governor is knocking down the houses of ordinary cultists found in his state and Bini people are not coming online to celebrate it the way OBIdients are celebrating Peter Obi.

Me i just tire.

A sane government will either knock down a property linked to kidnapping or forfeit it.

All these social media stunts will only deceive gullible people with the inability to think independently, people wey lack exposure.

When they show yhu people evidence of working y'all still go ahead to downplay the effort. This is just to let yhu people know Obi never condole any form of criminality during his time as a governor.

Even Evans testified when he was caught that it was Obi's tough stand against kidnapping that made him run to Lagos to continue his kidnapping business.

The stakes are higher at the national level. We need to see something with a spark. Not the usual.

The more you portray him as messianic the more the expectations, when you now post something mundane, the people are disappointed.

Lies, we all remember James Nwafor in charge of SARS in Anambra during Obi's tenure. We remember the Ezu river incident and how Obi said the bodies appeared to have floated from elsewhere into Anambra territory. Never taking responsibility as usual. We remember this very incident was magnified in Lagos during end SARS and somehow Lagos suffered for it.

Obi's only true crime is actually being Igbo. If he weren't Igbo, the elections would have been a walk in the park for him.

Can you reasonably explain? The last i remember election is won by majority votes and spread. Was it Obi's tribe that made him not as popular as Tinubu and Atiku that beat him silly? Was it tribe that made him not to have even ordinary party rep in all voting units? Obi had many votes everywhere he was expected to, which were major cities, South East and Christian dominated areas. Normal analytics predicted this before elections and that exactly what happened.

This time again, it's clear he'd lose. Does it have anything to do with his tribe? No. Clear logic, he's not as popular as Tinubu or Atiku.
2. His party is new and not popular or known to majority of voters, election is NOT online.
3. He has lost the Christian bloc vote that worked for him due to his previous islamization narrative.
4. The North will not vote for a new southerner. They'll either vote for a northerner or for Tinubu who has just 4 more years.

Clearly, he has no path to victory in the North which is over 50% of votes. In the South, his Christian votes are depleted. Even in his South East stronghold, his opponents will get more votes than previous. These are major reasons and there are others. If you cannot see reason, you can continue been deceived that he'd lose because of his tribe.
