That lady's tweet saying she conducted a research project examining the quality of life of people living with HIV is trying to be clever by half. You did not mention the total number of people your research sampled, the geographical area etc. You just slammed us with "90% of them" gave the exact heartbreaking answer.

These generation of women cheat more than their husbands. Some will cheat and blame the man for this choice of choosing to cheat.

This applies majorly to northern ladies... You can't say the same for southern folks...
I was part of a survey in 2018 about HIV patients living with tuberculosis... There was this particular woman that had been living with HIV for 4 years and the husband is unaware... I did everything to persuade she and her sister to let the husband know... They refused...
My question is for how long will she keep the secret and will she continue to deprive the husband of seggs.huh

These days it's as if married women even cheat more than their husbands, from those that do it for economic reasons to those that will nack any young guys nackable at their place of work.
I entered a supermarket just as they were opening few days ago, apparently they thought they locked the door not knowing it was not properly locked, normally that is when cleaning prior to opening should be taking place, Omo one young boy staff was hammering the married with kids manager doggie, no be small thing, I just do like say nothing happen, as if say I no see anything, lol.

If we want to do a ratio of who can spread the most it will definitely be the man. Even if women cheats it can't be compared to men. A woman in marriage may cheats with one or two guys. But for men, they can continue changing the ladies. So logically men will spread the most.

he successfully drew a parallel, but you failed to see it. The logic is that cases of paternity fraud are quite high, this means hypothetically a wife who could get pregnant for someone else and pin it on you, means she was knacking raw and could have also gotten some viruses eg HIV in addition to the baby. Do you get it now?

drshrewd:
The risk of HIV transmission depends greatly on the type of exposure, whether the source person has HIV, whether they are on treatment, whether there was blood contact, and whether post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) is started quickly.

Approximate HIV Transmission Risk Per Exposure Event
Exposure Type Estimated Risk
Blood transfusion with HIV-infected blood ~90% (9,000 per 10,000 exposures)
Sharing contaminated injection needles ~0.63% (63 per 10,000)
Receptive anal sex (bottom partner) ~1.38% (138 per 10,000)
Insertive anal sex (top partner) ~0.11% (11 per 10,000)
Receptive vaginal sex (female receiving) ~0.08% (8 per 10,000)
Insertive vaginal sex (male penetrating) ~0.04% (4 per 10,000)
Needle-stick injury in healthcare setting ~0.23% (23 per 10,000)
MouthAction Very low; difficult to quantify, generally <0.01%
Deep bite with blood exposure Extremely low
Kissing, hugging, sharing utensils No risk
Mosquitoes/insects No risk

from the above stats the probality of contracting HIV from random unprotected sex in Nigeria is 0.01*0.04=0.0004% This means even the unprotected sex we dread about does not really expose us as much as we thougth. I have seen women who are HIV positive and their Husband HIV Negative. meaning, the wife may have contracted through sharing of sharp objects and from the stats their husband need to sleep with them over a thousand times to be exposed to the virus

The RCCG church woman who died from AIDS got it from her husband.
This provoked the Church to demand medical tests before the wedding.

Mr. Labtech did you do a DNA test on the baby after childbirth to confirm if it belongs to the husband?
If you did not, he-goat go bite you on Sunday 3pm for dis your false statement.

bigpicture001:
It I very true...I run a medical lab...and I can say the doctor said correct..

U see couple comer pre marital test all testing negative...then just 8-months to 18 months after childbirth...wife is HIV positive
Re: A Doctor's HIV Comment Sparks Debate by livebullet(m): 5:08pm On Jun 18
Maybe in the north.. in the south here, the number of wife to husband transmission is increasing... Our southern women are tasting "freedom" as they call it.

The average woman sleeps with more men before 30 than the average man would manage in 5 lifetimes.

All these men cheat is a fallacious thing.

So, the women all happen to speak one common dialect? I see.

I wonder why he didn't interview the men, so they can tell him who infected them.
Re: A Doctor's HIV Comment Sparks Debate by Psoul(m): 9:53pm On Jun 18
Very silly assumption.
The doctor is not psychologically balanced.
Women don't take responsibility of any action.

Even when they know that they are the problem, they will still form victim. That is the shaky premise this doctor boy drew his inference from.
Mtchwwww.

I am not arguing with you. We are talking of married couples

Women actually grabs infection faster than men due to thier pussy structure so that statement is an uninformed generalisation.
Re: A Doctor's HIV Comment Sparks Debate by jokaka89: 10:53am On Jun 19
So why is the number of clients on treatment rated 70/30.
70% for women and 30% for men.
Go and do your stats well Dr. that doesnt know anything about HIV.
Meet with any ART coordinator of any facility, you will get your answerand stop misleading people.
APIN, ECEWS, HYGIA are where you can get infos from.

Mind you, it is easier to get HIV from women than men because of the way the private parts are designed by God.
TDF-3TC-DTG is an example of the ART medications given to them and this is a first line medication, that is if the the viral load of the client is less than than 1000cp/ml.
I worked with the NGO before.

How can one open his or her mouth in this 21st century and claim that probability of getting HIV via unprotected sex with an infected person is low?!.....

we are in serious trouble oooo

the probability is only low if the infected person has a very low viral load.....and this is in very rare cases...moreover, why would one endangers his or her self by having unprotected sex with an infected person!...

that doctor dont know about the victim mentality of women
Kindly carry out and publish your own research to support your position....Even as dar back as when I was a teenager, my medical pactitioner parents always had stories of husbands who were asymptomatic and infected their wives. Some also knew and disnt tell their wives. Some wkmen only found out because they were sickly amd couldn't explain why. Truth be told, many men are careless. A cheating woman is more likely to protect herself than a cheating man.

I read some comments and I conclude disgustingly that marriage has lost its purity and respect.
