NuhuAjang71:Abacha can't do anything, Nigerians are going there to commit crime n they made it clear they don't want criminals in their country Is that too hard to ask for? |

Lukuluku69:Exactly. But for those who have absolutely nothing to go back to. Some would rather die than return home. Some were even born there. |

Counterigbolies:Wrong! Ghana has deported Nigerians before, no one said they are Xenophobic. Nigeria has deported Ghananians before, they did not accuse Nigeria of Xenophobia. You need to investigate and understand what drives Xenophobia, it is not crime, unemployment, hunger and other things on the surface. It is a deep-seated psychological trauma which if left unaddressed, metamorphosed into rabid hatred for others beings, even at one's expense. |

The government of South Africa is aiding and abating the brutal attack of foreigners in their country who are largely africans |

humberjade:They have the lives. With that, they can be anything they can. It is far better than staying and be lynched. We have heard people who lost everything to natural disaster and even man made disaster but still then it around. I personally don't see any reason for someone who operates a kiosk selling groceries should stay behind and let these xenophobes do the unthinkable on them. Move back to your country. |

Lukuluku69:It was not even as bad as this when i bailed from SA 15 years ago. For some of us, we believe we can relaunch ourselves no matter what life throws at us, but for some, they are barely hanging on. Some swam through crocodile infested rivers to enter SA. So you do the maths. |

Apus:It's easy to say. The first major reason people need to japka is security, this Govt has turned the once gallant military to ordinary mayguard. They continue to rehabilitate and release this killers back into the already unsafe system Hmm it's not so easy beating Hynec their NO10. |

Omoslim26:And the solution is to Japa? You're still proving my point. Nigeria is not the first country where the government had turned on its citizens and conducted mass murder - France, Russia, Iran, Syria e.t.c. |

You don't get anything right through doing the wrong thing. South Africans started it first. But my advice for these people is for them to return home. |

Apus:Easy to say when your breads are well buttered…there’s nothing wrong with seeking greener pastures abroad. Europeans left Britain, etc to seek better opportunities in America and Australia. They even displaced and plundered the indigenous people of where they are now. Indians and Chinese are all over Canada, no one is accusing them of leaving their homelands. |

The energy and unity they have to hold violent protests and sit in in a foreign country ... to demand better conditions .... why can't they have the same energy to rightfully do so in their own country? Are the Police supposed to sit back and do nothing?... or beg them to stop? What if Ghanaians in Nigeria do the same in Nigeria?... what would we expect the Police to do? ... and what would we say to the Ghanaians who condemn the Police actions? Hypocrites everywhere. |

Counterigbolies:You are just a self-hating person, that is if you are Nigerian in the first place. I lived in Johannesburg for a whole year, because l was attending a Year long Training Course at the IBM Centre, very close to Sandston City Mall. I stayed all year, at the Travelers Lodge Hotel next to the IBM Centre, anyone who knows J'bourg well, can relate with where l am mentioning. I mingled with these people a lot, l had friends among them, long before l even went there. My Cousin is married to a South African, two years before l went and l have been there on 'Visits' for short periods (One Month, Two Months), before my own year-long trip. Only a small group of Nigerians engage in Crimes there, a vast majority of South Africans are responsible for the Crimes there. They rob in traffic, mug and do all sort of things the Bot on this forum will not allow me to type. They are Lazy, especially their Men, all they think about is sag their Trousers, knack women, drink alcohol all day or take Drugs. Such lazy people cannot but go into Crime. What we are seeing, is a re-direction of Failure, by their Political leaders, to distract their lazy Citizens from their Failures. Finger Pointing. You can see the body language of their President and the i-dont-care attitude of their Security Forces, when they see their People attacking deeply Migrants. They are all Deeply truamatized Xenophobes If we remove what the White Apartheid Colonialists have done in South Africa, the lazy Black Ones carrying offensive items and attacking foreigners on the street have contributed nothing but Crime, to South Africa. |

Arostar2023:It is a "local champion" mentality. Just because someone has the opportunity to loot Govt funds, or engage in financially rewarding 'criminal business like selling fake Drugs or counterfeit products and therefore has some small money to flex with, they think everyone else is okay with doing such things and are therefore financially comfortable like them. The world is now a Global Village, Migration is a universal phenomena, not restricted to Nigerians or Africans alone. My own position is, if you must travel to another Country, make sure you do so legally and abide by the laws of your Host Country, Work hard, make enough Money and come back home to invest, hopefully when our useless leaders have grown some sense and reduced their mismanagement of the Country |

smallsmall:Good talk but one problem. 9ja is not a country. It's a collection of countless tribal nations. Don't let passport or FG or NASS fool you. The last two group, from across 9ja elite, need the appearance of a country to keep accessing power and state treasury. For 65 years, can you tell me one thing that truly units even just Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba? Never mind the other hundreds of nations. When Pa Awo said 9ja was a mere geographical expression, he wasn't joking. He saw the birth of the Nigerian state and its tottering about before he said so. Today, Fulani herding cows through airports, past Asokoro and anywhere say it's part of their culture and sacred. So, what does a trader at Onitsha or a cloth weaver in Osogbo have in common with that? |

All South African in Nigeria better have valid documents or they can return home to their beloved country. We have to activate reciprocity doctrine. |
