WHY should they have their markets herehuh?

They can make SE a spare parts Hub…… what are they scared ofhuh?
Population, nearness to seaport, e.t.c.

But if you push them hard enough, the SE could become the only major spare parts hub in the country.
It would probably be a blessing in disguise for the region.

This are pictures of some housing units in luanda Angola.. I don't think we have anything like this in Lagos.. you see how massive and organized it is....

Each of this estates accommodate nothing less than 80,000 residents.
Those are readymade Ghettoes

What Lagos needs is fast rail links to Ogun and Oyo States so that people can live in those places and commute to Lagos for work...it would open up the economies of all those areas and maximize the benefit of all these port complexes unfairly concentrated inside Lagos alone

Because that's the only thing that Lagos has got over everywhere else in Nigeria: the ports. Remove those and watch the city shrivel up and die

Exactly 💯 it's our hardworking and beautiful Igbo women that are the ones who took over your entire markets 🤗

They left those other sectors you spoke about for their men 😏

Are you wailing now? shocked Need a handkerchief? 🤧

ThinkSmarter:
You are not speaking 🗣️ cuz you are concerned about the development or modernization of the markets.
This is borne out of hate for the Igbos.
Markets are located at strategic places that are easily accessible to the populace.
And if the markets are to be modernizd, they can be done in phases without disrupting commerce.
Ariaria int'l market Aba, is currently being modernized in phases without the entire market going down once.
What is always crawling in you guys head that makes you think major stake holders of all these markets are Igbos? if you are ignorant of certain things, you ask questions.

So what you are saying is that a man of 25years should continue to put on the clothes his parents bought for him when he was just 5years old because the clothes were both in his name? I wonder how we expect Nigeria to grow while our thinking ability remain those of the 80s.

If you have a replica of those housing units here in Nigeria. How many average Nigerian will be able to acquire them?
A lot of people are already battling to meet their daily needs let alone acquiring an accommodation of such standard.

The economy is already messed up!
The top most need of every Nigerian now is feeding and transportation.

there are ports in rivers and warri....

Lagos is the economic capital of Nigeria... Ort is not what makes a city boom..

Tema has the ports but not better than Accra. Same as Mombasa...

Manufacturing, IT, entertainment, tourism is what makes Lagos grow and not port...

if you don't know, good and organized housing system reduces poverty in a country....

When you take homeless people out the streets, you have less: beggars, pick pockets, hoodlums, etc...
