There's serious development going on especially with football, I dont know about other sports. Wydad Casablanca won the CAF Champions League a few years ago. Their age grade teams are winning competitions. Their female team almost beat Nigerian super Falcons in the female African cup of nations two years ago. Their Male team just won AFCON through the back door. The football infrastructure in that country is comparable to that of top European countries.
