The Truth is, to defend Tinubu and his failure is very hard cos you will do anything stupid just to defend failure....

So it's now a new thing that cars are giving to traditional rulers and judges in Nigeria;

I pity those still defending this capital failure

The first and only politician to buy made in Nigeria cars for the traditional rulers and judges and didn't have to inflate figures over the purchase. How about you talk about that....

The cars given to traditional rulers was for the purpose of fighting insecurity.

According to him, the criminals were living in communities overseen by these traditional rulers, so the car was to help them with mobility to manage the affairs of their local communities more effectively

The result? Anambra became the safest state in Nigeria for 5 straight years (2009 - 2014) according to the then IG of Police.
Same period you claim to have been safe is when a former deputy governor was kidnapped in the state.

You can’t prevent people from committing a crime, they also do in the U.S, but what you do after they commit crime is what matters.

Unlike today under Tinubu where criminals are walking free and committing more crimes, even showing off on TikTok, PO fought criminals.

In this case, the perpetrators of that criminal act were haunted down and brought to book:

Peter Obi was a mediocre governor. He had zero creativity and lacked innovation skills. He keeps mentioning China, South Africa, and Rwanda as examples of development zones. Why does he hardly mention Anambra and use himself as a reference?

His claims are that Anambra was number one in WAEC. What does that mean? Has WAEC ever ranked states in Nigeria? He also boasted to have saved money in a bank. Turned out it was a bank he had interest in. He shored up the liquidity of the bank with Anambra state funds which allowed the bank to give loans and earn interests and make profits which can be used to pay dividends to shareholders of which he was a major individual shareholder. He talks about consumption to production. He has produced more crisis in political parties he goes to and cannot lead his followers. His company sells imported products. He has no plans to do anything, but just talk.

As a presidential candidate, he is even more mediocre. He cannot articulate his plans because he has none. In his most recent outing, he performed so poorly that Morris Monye said we should not mind what he said but have a president who doesn't steal.

Even the Obidients admit his limitations.

Today, he keeps saying things he would do that he could not do as governor.
grin grin cheesy

I have no issue with Peter Obi but his followers portraying him as a Messiah.
Well, is not the fault of his followers but that of the corrupt politicians standing on the mandate of who they don't know about his educational background....

If in the present day Nigerian Politics where corruption is the key factor and you find one person that ICPC, EFCC, NDLEA, name them could not have any atom of corruption on him , my brother , is that person not a Messiahhuh?

Meanwhile the Cars the same man shared was Innocence cars ooh .....as he insisted that's what he will give them and also have to all schools in Anambra State, which the propagandists of a PO refused to equally say...

And now we can make an enugated guess as to why lawyers in Anambra couldn't use the courts to compel him to hold LG elections till his final year in office. Before Emperor Wike , there was Obi holding that title. No wonder the FCT minister once said he learned from him .

Saved money while Doctors are owed over a year's salary.
Didn't hold LG elections till the last months out of two terms . Where did the monthly LG funds from federal go for more than seven years?
Now , handing brand new vehicles to judges without inflating prices suddenly is no longer subtle bribery like Wike did with buildings for judges once the proverbial shoe is on the other foot . This your tribalism tinted glasses is blocking your balanced views on things .

Ofodirinwa:
Obi privatized the schools in Anambra as well as the hospitals. He then cut all unnecessary expenses and privatized anything else that can be better run by the private sector. This created a budget surplus. He took the surplus money to equip the schools with computers and labs, and upgrade the hospitals. He even had money left to give the traditional rulers vehicles as they are under the state.
Still having money left over, he began lending to other states, making Anambra the first net lender state, #1 road networks in Nigeria, #1 in education and #1 in health care distribution, lowest rate of poverty, and highest rate of literacy.
You don't need to lecture the person. I love the fact that you are stating the facts as they occurred. Cuz the younger ones can be gullible to believe what they are saying. As for the poster, he is gone and cannot see the light.

Many pepertrators of crimes are also both to book today so your point is weak.

Bakassi boys were uncontrollable and kidnapping was unaccounted for under PO. Very unique problem to his state as every other states around him were significantly safer. Maybe because his state was now a poverty capital.

His successor complained a lot about the poor state of security inherited.

The man was a capital failure and many indigene of the state rarely travelled home during his tenure for fear of becoming a part of the unfortunate statistics

Ethics of debate requires that when an evidence is presented, you counter it with evidence, not a dismissive opinion backed by zero evidence or fact.

There is evidence from the IG of Police then that Anambra was the safest state for 5 straight years under Peter Obi. If you want to dispute that, go ahead with some data, if not, there’s no need to respond further.

Some of us are here for intellectual debates. If that’s not your thing, avoid the conversation and look for other people who are here for banter.
