Do we have any holy person in this world?
YES!
Re: Which One Is Correct? by dontbothermuch:
I can sing because I am human
I am human because I can sing

A problem with Generalization & Particular.

So the correct would be I have faith(Particular) because I am a believer(Generalization)

Saying I am a believer because of having faith only is too vague a thing.
When there are other attributes like hope, peace, righteousness etc

you are describing belief as knowledge and faith as acting upon that knowledge.

But scripture shows that true faith is what results to godly action/works that reveal a person's faith. So faith in God(from God) is an evidence that prompts people to do what is right.

I don't know where or who defines belief as knowledge, what you believe or becomes your belief is what you accept to be true, if you say you know something to be true it's because you have evidence that it is true.

How does a person know God can heal, it is from the word of God that presents that evidence that they later come to believe. So a person cannot believe or accept first without evidence. But because there is evidence that what they want as occured already they believe it to be possible.
Belief is even less than knowledge, technically speaking. Belief is at the level of hope. What you believe you don't really know if it's true or not, you just hope it is true because that is what you choose to be true. A man hears the word of God and decides to believe it to be true or not. [Romans 10: 14 - How can they believe when they have not heard] If he chooses to believe what he has heard, and then goes ahead to act on that belief, that is faith. It is faith that brings the evidence, not just belief. That is why Hebrews 11.1 describes faith as the substance, the evidence of things we hope [believe] for. It is faith that moves mountains, not just belief.
So hearing is step 1, believing is step 2, and faith is step 3 to knowing the word of God and exhibiting it's power

Faith is work, that is action.Show me your faith by your work...Without faith it is impossible to please "God for he that comes to God must first believe that he is,for he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him".

A. I have faith because I'm a believer.

Belief comes first. If you don't have belief .. how will you have faith?.. faith based on what?

"I have faith that Nigeria will win the 2030 World Cup ... but at this moment I don't believe it... maybe I will ".

"I believe Nigeria will win the 2030 World Cup ... but at this moment I don't have faith they will ... maybe later".

because faith, the faith, is noun and used as a noun referring to a substance and existence that we should have. Such that proves that what God is saying or said is true. So faith is evidence because God made it so, as the Spirit of God is given as proof that all His promises are true.

One would read by faith, through faith, have no faith, have less faith, has great faith or faith comes from God's word. Faith the means by which those who believe access God's righteousness, Romans 3:22. It's still Faith that one must have to believe and access God, Hebs 11:6

2Cor.4.13 It is written: "I believed; therefore I have spoken." With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak, (NIV)

Gal.3.22 But the Scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.

Through faith in Jesus, through evidence and substance in Jesus that we may believe and receive God's promise.

Faith is the evidence that enables us to please God by making us trust in Him and approach Him.

Faith is not intangible though spiritual, it exits to prove to us there is God, that He not only exits but created all there is and that His word comes to pass, it's now left for us to accept and believe.
be serious what’s all this rubbish

Ọmọ they are not celebrities o so even if i mention any of them by name you can't know them but why not ask for qualities Jesus said they will possess for us to identify them in the human society?🙂

The two statements are correct, it depends on what you mean.
Re: Which One Is Correct? by Goddyuduak: 2:33pm On Jun 21
Both are correct. The first applies to when you're expecting something from God or facing a difficult situation as a believer. Then you exercise faith through prayers and supplications to God that you will get your request or the situation will be made soft, while doing what's in your place to do. That's because you're a believer, otherwise you could have resorted to other evil means.

The second applies to what makes you a believer which is having faith in the finished work of Christ. What is the finished work of Christ: He came from heaven to the earth, died by the cross and shed his blood for the remission of our sins and salvation of our soul, was buried and on the third day he rose from the dead. He later ascended into heaven alive and promised that one day he will come back to take believers. If you believe this, then you become a believer.

Try to be calm otherwise you can't learn a single thing.
Take for instance imagine you and i are living in the first century and someone said there is no holy person just as one Jewish youth responded when his brother told him:

We have found the Messiah (Christ) John 1:45

Nathanael's response is:

Can anything good come out of Nazʹa·reth? John 1:46

So if you don't know the holy ones today instead of asking for the names of individuals that you can't find on Google why not ask what the Bible say will help you to identify them?🤔

Not about where ... it's about what.... and that "what" can be anything.... as in a black mamba is in the kitchen.... I believe I can kill it ... but do I have the faith ... the confidence to go kill it? ... belief before faith. If it's faith first ... same scenario ... snake in the kitchen... and you have faith ... faith or confidence in what?

bro question still remains, okay let's change it from where does your believe come from to what does your believe come from.

My opinion is belief comes from assessment ... taking certain factors into consideration and making a decision. Some people take just a few factors into consideration before making that decision or having that belief ... some will have a belief based only on what someone else said ... taking nothing into consideration ... and we have lots of such people.... as in the busy bodies ... as in the ones who rush to attack one accused of stealing another man's penis. Faith is how much that person has invested in his belief ... some people are 100% invested ... as in Tinubu is best to move Nigeria forward and is apparently moving forward but not realizing Tinubu is doing the moon walk.
