If Obi says eating from dustbins is healthy, Spy360 will point at madmen that live long, to defend the statement.

That’s how one knows that their movement is a big scam.
Typical APC miscreant 😂

When Tinubu said balableu bulaba, you clapped didn't you?

😂

Peter Obi said he'll continue negotiating with bandits/terrorists if he gets into power. He also said he'll continue "rehabilitating" them.

I don't understand why the man would plan to do this or even release such statement at all, are there really forces behind the scenes controlling everything including the president and presidential aspirants? Because that's the only way to make sense of some things happening in Nigeria.
This was where it started. Below was my response to it

Spy360:
That would be a huge red flag.

I know earlier he said something about agitators not terrorists.
Until I found out that the statement was hugely misquoted

So Tokunbo Wahab is busy exchanging paragraphs upon paragraphs of excuse with Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour on Twitter while the whole Lagos is getting defaced with filth? 🤦‍♂️

Some of these government political appointees sef, they get carried away with politics instead of doing their jobs.

For the past 6 months waste disposal situation in most parts of Lagos has gone from bad to worse. We pay for PSP operators to collect refuse from our homes on a weekly basis, but you hardly see them once in 2 months sef.

Nobody has bothered to explain why they don't come as often as they do anymore and no alternative provisions for waste disposal provided to the people. Some people have resorted to dumping their waste in public spaces like markets, roundabouts, road medians, secluded areas etc.....

Instead make Tokunbo address these issues he's busy doing political banter with Gbadebo. I don't know if they don't know that some of these things are actually embarrassing to say the least.

FG negotiating with bandits/terrorists is awful and demands red eyes especially in a country like Nigeria.

But in all fairness, any person (terrorists or whatsoever) "willingly" comes out to surrender deserves no freedom but lesser punishment.

Willingly here means..:- It must not be because they are at the loosing end or they deserved to be re-intergrated..

If Obi negotiation was all about re-intergrating them like it has been, then I disagree with him 100%

Happy fathers day

GRV is a gubernatorial candidate with a lot of followers, he was a gubernatorial candidate last election too. So he is a voice in Lagos. Which Wahab needs to explain the efforts and struggles of govt to

So that false narrative wont be peddled

Do you think something is wrong with public office holders explaining their work to their constituents especially one like GRV who has a significant following

You're right. It's probably a white elephant project.

How much is transcorp worth? A nuclear power plant will cost nothing less than $5b to make as of today.

Transcorp doesn't have the capacity to carry out such project on their own, unless it is a collaboration with the FG,or a partnership with bigger firms, even at that it'll never materialize. Power projects in Nigeria are mostly just to siphone money with no reliable product to show for the wasted funds.

You think people who have refuse of over 3 months sitting in their house without being picked care about the nonsense banter Tokunbo is doing with Gbadebo?

Everything should not be politics. He reduced Gbadebo's genuine complaint to opposition politics matter.

Imagine you even calling it "false narrative" 🤦‍♂️.

People have been complaining about paying for the service of LAWMA/PSP for the past 6 months but getting serviced erratically and some nkt getting served at all. I guess that's false narratives abi?

Una go say make dem hold leaders accountable, the moment the people do Una go turn am to political matter. It is well
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by TemporaryHansel(m): 8:44pm On Jun 21
I pity anybody that takes Nigerians serious. Everybody complains about APC online but APC keep winning all the elections in the country. Some people will come here to claim it is rigging, but if by rigging you mean snatching ballot, voter intimidation, or manipulation of results. Nothing like that in general elections.
Na Nigerians dey carry their hand vote APC!

I always say it that I don't blame these celebs and actors that work with the present gov. When people abuse them online, I just laugh.

Anybody fighting for Nigerians is a fool, the people you're fighting for don't want to be liberated. Fight for your pocket, in the end that's what really matters in this extremely money-concious society.

When Nigerians are ready to liberate themselves they won't need anybody to liberate them.

If APC give you contract, accept am with your full chest. If you like derive yourself off opportunities because you want to claim to have conscience or morality, na the same Nigerians go laugh you later.

This is an opportunity for Tokunbo to be accountable to the people he serves. Do you think it will be better if he had kept quiet?
GRV is a stakeholder in Lagos and he raised concerns. The govt worker he pays with his taxes came to explain to him. What exactly is wrong with that?

If Tokunbo is not delivering then he should explain why he couldn't to his constituents which includes GRV or what is wrong with that

What you call nonsense banter is him explaining himself to those who pay his salary

What do we want sef? Public servants who answer to the public or those who ignore them

If there is a problem in your ministry and people are.not feeling the impact then come and explain to the people what the problem is

If Tokunbo thinks its a true narrative then he explains why he hasn't been able to fix the issue. If its a false narrative he comes forward to state the true one.

I understand your anger, to be honest. The last time we saw a disgusting Lagos was Ambode's tenure.

But na GRV find trouble. All Wahab did was explain how overwhelming it has been so far. He didn't defend the failures though.

GRV just entered him like something else dey involved.

People have been complaining about this issue since almost beginning of this year. Fix the damn issue! He's telling us Lagos generate 1 gazillion tonnage of waste.

If it's a case of government failing to provide basic amenities as they always do, I wouldn't even be bothered. But this is a service we are paying for to private operators which the government and it's agencies imposed on us. How's it so hard for the government to ensure these service providers provide the service they were paid for?

They banned all those wheel barrow guys from going around to collect refuse from people's homes, yet they won't show up to collect refuse with their trucks. How long will he continue to write epistle?

The screenshot below is actually what fuelled my anger. They are talking about zero tolerance to dumping of refuse on roads, but they fail to collect refuse from people's homes despite paying for the service.

Who are they fooling?

One day we really need to discuss how unnecessarily stressful and annoying burials are in Nigeria.

Frankly, I don't even think it's strictly a Nigerian problem, because I remember Lukaku complaining about the same headaches when trying to bury his father in Ivory Coast, or whichever African country it was.

Africans just seem to love complicating things that should otherwise be simple. We are weighed down by too many useless traditions that have absolutely no place in the 21st century.

When I wanted to bury my dad, the family stressed me to the extent that, at one point, I was thinking of abandoning the whole process. I still hate them till this day for the stress they put me through.

I hope in the future, people will break away from these so-called cultural norms, they'll have no choice but to bury their dead by themselves without involving the so-called 'family'.

Both burial and marriage rites need to be simplified instead of the nonsense they're putting people through in the name of culture.

Culture should be changed when it no longer makes sense. If culture can't be changed, why did people stop the killing of twins? Nonsense. undecided

The taskforce will be filled with agberos and other bottom barrel supporters by the way. They will use it to compensate them ahead of the general elections in the state next year.

All the Shalaye essentially justified GRV’s position. The government has been in power for 7 years, there is no amount of shalaye that can justify or explain why Lagos has gotten to where it is in terms of refuse collection and disposal. Isn’t this one of Ambode’s many sins according to his haters?

Wahab did not need all that back and forth with GRV. At best, his first response while filled with excuses and justifications should have been enough. They have a lot of work to do, he should be working and not engaging GRV. Lagosians don’t need GRV to know the environmental situation is a perfect ingredient for a public health crisis.

People are looking for a reprieve, Wahab is busy playing politics, selling his resume and engaging in “give and take” with someone that can’t win his ward. GRV raised legitimate concerns and they are facts. After 7 years, arguing and explaining will not get you anywhere, if anything it exposes your lack of accountability. You need to “show workings” now.

Take ownership, apologize, get to work and get Lagosians some reprieve with this issue…Simple!

I've noticed this is very common amongst my SE brethren. Are you Igbo?

My ex and her family went through hell and back and I keep wondering the father knowing how problematic his relatives are why they are so adamant on going back home when they know that time is coming. In his case lots of money was also spent to keep him alive

I don't see the sentimental value to it, maybe cos I'm not Igbo it just sounds illogical to me that I go into financial crisis over a burial. I would probably follow through on what you were contemplating. I no well rara

Sorry but there's no real real substance to this long post of yours. You didn't even identify what parts of the burial or marriage rites you disagree with or or find archaic in the 21st century nor specified the tribe/region you are referring to.

Part of community engagement is explaining to them why what was working is no longer working. GRV obviously wanted details

Do you think it would have sufficed to simply say "Sorry we are working on it"? If there is a power outage you surely want to know what is causing it, Is it a storm, is it an equipment failure, what is causing it

I surely will want to know the details beyond the bland "Sorry we will fix it soon"

Public workers are answerable to the public and any question you ask them its always good to explain why things are working or not working

This particular refuse issue has been a recurring theme and a black spot for Sanwolu. This isn’t a case of something went wrong but something has been wrong for a very long time!

Remember the corper that talked about Lagos smelling and how it was politicized? Infact tribalism follow enter because she spoke up. So no, this isn’t a rare occurrence but the norm. It had not been working before now

The problem is Wahab things he is answering GRV, not realizing he is answering millions of Lagosians who have suffered through this over the last 7 years! Sanwolu is t seeking reelection so I am not sure why he felt compelled to politicize this issue.

Wahab should have addressed the issue in general, take ownership and start showing workings. A smart politician or public official should have seen the back and forth with GRV would backfire! All these back of forth isn’t necessary.

Lees talk, more action!
