Don’t castigate people for the reasons and choices they made. They are eligible voters by age.

15k is still better than voting for Peter and Atiku who would never win. A plate of cat-fish pepper soup and orange juice still beneficial than a vote for both minions who are guaranteed to lose at the polls!

Section 121 of Electoral Act 2022 – Bribery and Conspiracy

A voter commits an offence if, before or during an election, they receive or agree to receive money, gifts, or other benefits in exchange for voting or agreeing to vote for a candidate.

Penalty: up to N500,000 fine, 12 months imprisonment, or both.

If they can just write election results, they won't bother paying people to vote.
